I'm definitely a novice at makeup, so keep that in mind... I thought this would be a good cheap way to try out a cream liner and the reviews were good. It works, but you have to be careful to not get too much on the brush, and it smudges very easily, so if you have an unsteady hand, you can end up with a mess. I don't have the time in the morning to fix a blotchy black mess on my face. I find that crayon style liners give me enough color and they're easier to use. I'll probably use it again at some point, but it's just too much effort...

Love this product. Gunmetal is one of my favorite shades, along with Metallic Olive, and Copper. I only use cream eyeliner to tight line my top lids, and this color looks great with my brown eyes. Typically, I don't like black eyeliner (too harsh for my age), and Gunmetal is a great choice. It's a much more subtle look and it still makes your eyes stand out. Great for daytime and evening...Cream eyeliners do not last long, and like mascara they need to be replaced every 3 or 4 months. Even if they are closed tightly, they get very hard and are impossible to use. If I am in a jam, I run the container under hot water. For [$], I don't expect them to last forever. Highly Recommend...
dip a thin brush into the formula, swirl around gently until brush is saturated with color. Swipe off any excess formula on top edge of the pot. Trace a line along the top lash line from the inner corner towards the outer corner of the eye. If desired, apply on lower lash line as well. Remove with an eye make up remover.
