I ordered this brush and e.l.f.'s professional eye shadow brush to compare. This brush is definitely more full and evenly shaped than the professional, but I actually had a hard time using this one. The hair doesn't pick up and deposit shadow very easily. I actually prefer the less expensive professional eye shadow brush to this. The only good thing about this brush is that you have a better chance of not getting a lemon. When I looked at this brush in the store, all the ones on the shelf looked the same. However, the professional eye shadow brushes were really hit or miss, some were shaped nicely, others were totally uneven and unusable. I wouldn't buy this brush again and don't really use it. If only it had the same hair as the professional brushes.

I don't like change, and I had never used a brush to apply shadow, but I decided to try it, and this brush works wonderfully.

If you're looking for a good cheap brush, this one is for you.

It's not as good as a natural brush would be, but you can't beat the price.

At first I disliked this brush because it didn't "lay down" color and the size is too large for my eyes. With more uses, I figured out that this brush is better for blending color that was applied. It's great at creating seamless smoky eye looks. You lay down your color and then blend with this "c" brush.
I've washed this brush many times and I get minimal bristle loss. Overall, I think it's a great value and awesome for blending smoky eye makeup looks.

I cannot resist a great buy, but I am not sure why this brush has received stellar reviews on other websites. It's a great staple brush, and it's a step up from the other popular e.l.f. eye shadow brush.

I might not be using this brush correctly, because I didn't notice it doing anything out of the ordinary. Again, going back to the previous hype that I read. It's an inexpensive brush, doesn't shed, picks up a fair amount of shadow, fits into the crease of your eye nicely, and it cleans up beautifully. I will continue and try to figure out how to use this brush to my advantage...
