Comments about e.l.f. Studio Matte Lip Color, Coral, .2 oz:
I bought this in Coral. The color on the packaging (which looks like a carnation pink) does not really match the color of the product itself. It lives up to its name as a Coral; a pink/orange mix, a bit lighter than a salmon pink.
The consistency is somewhere between a lip liner and a lipstick. It's much more creamy than a lip liner, but a bit drier than a lipstick. As the name indicates, it's matte, so there is no kind of sparkle or shine. The color shows up flat, so if you do like even a little bit of sheen, definitely follow up application with a lip gloss.
Though the product arrives with a pointed tip, it will dull on you on the first or second use, and I don't really think with its consistency it can be sharpened. It would really help to have a lip brush handy to blend out around the edges of the lips.
Overall, I really like the color and am satisfied with my purchase (especially considering the price). My main problem with the product is the size of the tip (two to three times the size of a normal mechanical lip liner) and how it becomes dull and rounded after just a couple of uses. But as I said, a lip brush would help tremendously to smooth out any awkward lines the product creates.
