The texture was nice and it gives a nice amount of coverage. The tint is just way too orangey though. I tried both the nude and porcelain and it left me looking like I spent way too much time in a fake tanning salon.

My first tinted moisturizer was high end and I actually loved it, but I wanted to see if a more affordable tinted moisturizer could rival it. e.l.f.'s tinted moisturizer is so far the cheapest I can find, so I started with this.

For starters, this is actually not a bad tinted moisturizer. It has a gel-like texture, it's fairly pigmented, and it's easy to spread. It's REALLY sheer though, so the best it can do is moisturize your skin and even your skin tone, but there's not much else notable about it. It's a small tube though, so I liked bring this with me on the go.

The only bad things I see about this are the greasy texture it can leave on the skin (mind you, I don't use very much, either!) and that it doesn't last a very long time, at least not compared to the higher end moisturizer I've tried. If you have acne scars or other "imperfections," this won't help you much—you'd need a concealer. As for the greasy texture, I would apply a finishing powder over it. It would help it last long as well but it's so sheer you probably wouldn't be able to tell.

For the price however, this isn't too bad if you have dry skin. It's not a bad moisturizer! But it's probably better used by someone with dry skin and minor blemishes.

I picked this up in the shade Porcelain. The package says is for fair yellow skintones which describes my skintone. After applying the product it looked orange and streaky. Would not recommend.
