I used ept with all of my babies. The two running around the house right now, and the one that is on the way. Each time I used the test on the day my period was supposed to start, and each time it came up positive. I always did it more than once and always first thing in the morning. You should never just trust any kind of over the counter pregnancy test. I have had nothing but positive experiences with ept and it will continue to be the first one I grab off the shelf whenever I think I am pregnant. I would recommend it to anyone.

I bought a couple of these tests when my husband and I were trying to have a baby (this was last year), and I tested the day before I was due, and the day after. On the last one there was a really light line, it almost looked like it wasn't there. I called their 800 number and asked what it could mean and was told to buy another one!! Finally I went that day to buy another test, this time I got first response and the line was a dark positive. I now have a beautiful 6 month old, and I know that I could never use the EPT test again, I will buy first response next time!
I was skeptical about using this test a day before my expected period because i had always tested with First Response. But I taken First response 4 days before my expected period, 3 days and so on ( it's was a 6 day sooner) then I took this test 1 day before period (today) and got my faint bfp!!! I was so excited I cried! I made an appt with my DR First thing tomorrow in the AM :) I would recommend this test for sure!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Like the other reviews my tests are doing the same. One test was positive (very faint line), the other is negative. Now I don't know if I am or not. grrrrrrrrrrrr I have never had this issue, even when I used the cheap $4 test with my first child.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I used this test twice (bought a box with 2 tests) and got false positives on both tests. They were very faint lines but they were blue and showed up in the correct amount of time. It was confirmed that I was NOT pregnant by a blood test by my OB. Very sad. I have heard of many people getting false positives and evap lines using these tests. I would not recommend them.
This detected my pregnancy a few days after my missed period. If you're late and you get a faint (positive) line, or it comes out negative but your period still doesn't start within a few days, get tested.
I suspected I was pregnant and I took two tests and they both were negative and I took them about two months apart, so I know my HCG hormone level could've been detected. It turns out that I only found out about my pregnancy through miscarriage due to stress. Thanks a lot!
I've always used e.p.t.; it's given me quick results every time. It's worked great for me with all 3 of my babies, and was accurate from the time I missed a period, and even a day or two before, with one of my children. I've tried many, many other brands, and short of the blood test from my doctor, e.p.t. is the only test I'll trust.
For best results it is recommended you test the day of your expected period. Levels of the pregnancy hormone vary greatly, which makes testing earlier less reliable. If you test early and get a negative result, the distributor recommends retesting on the day of your expected period.
