This test gave me an immediate and easily readable positive indication two days after my period was due. I bought First Response tests initially, and what ABSOLUTE GARBAGE they are! They are supposed to tell you up to five days before your period is due whether or not you are pregnant. I tested five days before, two days before, and one day AFTER my period was due and all were completely negative. Thank you e.p.t. for making a test that actually works. I can't even express how much I hate First Response.

I took this test two days after I missed my period and received a CLEAR positive. I also used e.p.t with my first child and was very happy with the results; one test, one time instead of wasting money.

Not a good test at all. I took 3 of these; the first and second 3 and 4 days after my missed period, and another 6 days after and all came up negative. I finally used First Response and Clear Blue Easy and got my positive result. Not a good early test! It probably doesn't give a positive until you get morning sickness. By then you already pretty well know. :-/

My pregnancy was confirmed today by my physician; 2 days after my period was due. Over the past three days I have tried numerous pregnancy tests to see which ones worked best. Here is what I found:
ept (recommended)
1st test: 1 day after period due (first morning urine), showed strong positive
2nd test: 2 days after, positive

Taking this test was so aggravating.
With my first pregnancy, it worked well because I was already almost 2 weeks late. That's not the point though because the test is supposed to be the "EARLY pregnancy test". As the package instructed to do, I took the test the first day of my missed period. My husband read the test and informed me that it was NEGATIVE. I was in the middle of enjoying a beer when I saw the test myself, which after 10 MINUTES showed a faint positive! I again followed the instructions and repeated the test a few days later with the same faint positive result. Turns out - we're happily pregnant but I wish I'd gone with another test!!!! EPT is a waste of money - what an emotional rollercoaster. Thumbs DOWN!

The first time I used this product I got a positive and it was correct (but that was five weeks into the pregnancy). The second time I used it (which was today, I'm a week late) I used the two pack and both were defected. I even read the directions VERY carefully and did the cup thing the second time and didn't drink anything before hand liked they put and you still couldn't read the line.
What a waste of money. Now I have to retest in a couple of days and spend more money. I am going to buy a different brand next time.

I used this test on all my pregnancies and got accurate results everytime. I recommend this test very highly. I would never use any other test.

I hated it. The line indicating that the test actually worked was really faint, and the window that was supposed to indicate that I was pregnant turned a murky pink color, but didn't seem to show any line (but we couldn't be positive). I tried it again, and this time, it didn't even work. I would stay away from this product.

This test is horrible! I tested with first morning urine- nothing, two hours later I used Target brand- positive almost immediately. Don't waste your money on EPT or First Response- stick with the store brands; they have been more reliable with all four of my pregnancies!

In my efforts to get pregnant, I've tried many different tests during many different cycles. This is the only one that ALWAYS gave me correct results...I never got a false positive like with some other tests, yet I was usually able to detect pregnancy a couple of days before I was supposed to. Highly recommend.
