Two years ago my husband and I were trying to get pregnant. We were so excited when I was late on my period. He went out and bought the e.p.t, and I tested while he was at work. The results were not what I expected. The lines were hard to read and I wasn't sure of the results. A couple of hours later I checked again to make sure, and it read positive. But the second line was VERY faint, so I had to pay for a blood test by my doctor and it confirmed I was pregnant- at 7 weeks. We found out we were going to have twins!! Next time I try to get pregnant, I definitely won't be using the e.p.t. It was a waste of money, time, and confusion!!! Not to mention emotions!! I will not recommend this product to anyone who is willing or wanting to get pregnant. Sincerely, Happy Family with Twins. :)
I used this test twice (bought a box with 2 tests) and got false positives on both tests. They were very faint lines but they were blue and showed up in the correct amount of time. It was confirmed that I was NOT pregnant by a blood test by my OB. Very sad. I have heard of many people getting false positives and evap lines using these tests. I would not recommend them.
This detected my pregnancy a few days after my missed period. If you're late and you get a faint (positive) line, or it comes out negative but your period still doesn't start within a few days, get tested.

I suspected I was pregnant and I took two tests and they both were negative and I took them about two months apart, so I know my HCG hormone level could've been detected. It turns out that I only found out about my pregnancy through miscarriage due to stress. Thanks a lot!
I've always used e.p.t.; it's given me quick results every time. It's worked great for me with all 3 of my babies, and was accurate from the time I missed a period, and even a day or two before, with one of my children. I've tried many, many other brands, and short of the blood test from my doctor, e.p.t. is the only test I'll trust.
I like this test. I got a clear POSITIVE result when I was pregnant and a clear NEGATIVE result when I wasn't. I have also used generic brands and those don't compare. It is worth the extra money to be sure!
When To Use: e.p.t. can be used any time of day as soon as you miss your period, and any day thereafter.
