These work very well during long flights to prevent buildup of uncomfortable pressure in the ears. I have recommended them to many friends and relatives. One thing to be aware of, the adult size is very large and you might want to consider the so-called children's size which is just a slightly smaller version more comfortable.

Using EarPlanes in combination with nasal decongestant (1 hour prior to take-off) has solved the pain of flying for my husband. No more pain during descent, and no more plugged ears for next several days. Won't fly without them.

I use them on every flight and when we travel in our RV over high mountain passes. They help relieve the pain in my ears. I usually wear them during the whole flight because sometimes I don't know when the plane has begun to descend. So they can get somewhat uncomfortable.

I've been using this product for several years after a flight some time ago left me in tears. The pain was horrific and I knew we were descending about 30 minutes before the pilot announced it. I was so thankful when I found these. You use a pair for one round-trip and then discard them. You place them into your ear canal by gently turning them as you insert them. I find them to be comfortable, but that doesn't mean it is not noticeable. I defintely feel like I have something in each ear. It reduces noise a bit, but does not eliminate cabin noise, so you can still hear those around you. Most importantely, it relieves the pressure in my ears. All of the home remedies--yawning, chewing gum, etc. do nothing for me, but this does. If you suffer in pain every time you fly, I would urge you to try this product.

Work best if you insert before they close the airplane door, but have worked inserting even after ear pain/pressure starts. If you travel by air, these are a must, recommended them to my brother-in-law who is an otolaryngologist.

I had terrible ear pain on a flight to Florida a few weeks ago.
ENT Doc prescribed an RX nasal spray, decongestant tablet and saline spray to use on the plane.

I told him about Ear Planes he never heard of them.
Wow, what a difference on our flights the past two weeks. I could unclog my ears with the hold your nose and blow method. Never was able to do this w/o the Ear Planes. No trouble to insert and for me they were comfortable.
