We do all of our laundry in this product. Love it! It cleans and sanitizes them and makes them soft but not slippery. They absorb. It's nice that it's echo friendly too.
For the people who dislike it, as I read their complaints it looks to me like they toss everything in one load. You must separate your clothes no matter what you use, and you must remove from washer and dry once they are done. If you leave them in over night expect them to smell sour. First learn how to do laundry then come back and try again. Why would anyone keep using a product that made their clothes smell like bad body odor? Really? Why?

Just bought a bottle at [...] instead of my usual Gain. I don't know yet about how great it cleans. First load was fine and the scent was wonderful plus the clothes came out soft and static free without having to use anything else. I have no idea whathappened with the woman that said it made everything smell like mildewy fish. Clothes came out smellinglike the product, which I love. I will write more after a month or so but so far I love it.

I think that this product does a great job of cleaning. I do have to use an added stain remover at times, but with the product I get super results. I like that it has a fabric softener in it already. The scent is very gentle.

Gets clothes clean and they smell so fresh without being "smelly" like perfume. There isn't a lot of extra suds in the machine or soap left in the clothes to turn them yellow.

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt, but I didn't read the ounces carefully before placing the order. I have not been able to purchase this in my home town, found it on the another website. They sell the same product--100 oz., for slightly more, since the sale price wasn't available when I ordered. I need to be a more careful shopper! The little bottles are nice, but weren't tightly sealed and leaked a bit in the box when delivered.

I stumbled upon this when I was just looking for detergent that was hypoallergenic and safe for the environment. I then spoke with my bf's aunt, which has used this, she recommended it. So I tried it and this has been my detergent ever since! I wish drugstore.com got a bigger size to this detergent though. I know you don't use a lot each load, but I do the laundry 3-5x a week. It can run out fast. I use a teeny bit in the fabric softener section, just to add a bit of softening power. I also follow the instructions when it says, put directly on stain. I leave it there for as much time as I can. And when I remember, I just run the washer. Works fine with me!

For stains, pour some of the detergent on stains for some time (I usually just let it soak for as much as I think, sometimes at least an hour) before running the water. I also add this sometimes in the fabric softener tube as well, if you want it to be a lot softer than usual. I don't buy fabric softener anymore and this goes a long way. I usually do laundry 2-5x a week. And I just finished my 1st 210 oz jug yesterday. I use a lot more of this on stains on rugs, towels and socks. I wish drugstore.com sold a bigger size than the one they sell right now.

After using this detergent for a couple of months, I couldn't understand how the clothes smelled like body odor out of the washing machine! I thought there was something wrong with my washer - BECAUSE I HAD NEVER SMELLED THAT SMELL BEFORE - but it wasn't the washer! It was the detergent!!! I switched and the clothes immediately came out fresh and clean!! THIS DOESN'T WORK!!!!!!

The last 2 times i ordered this from drugstore.com, a quarter of the bottle had already leaked out (into the plastic bag it comes wrapped in). Besides that, the product works fine.

It does a good job of softening clothes and reducing wrinkles. Ecos produces a good line of products that I do recommend to family and friends.

I have tried alot of the green and natural laundry detergents and this one wins hands down in my book. This product does double duty as I love the fact that the fabric softener is built right in and I don't have to purchase it separately. It leaves my clothes smelling fresh and soft. The magnolia lily scent is wonderful....my towels have never smelled better! I am a repeat purchaser and always keep this on hand....won't be without it.
