I had a set-in stain on one of my tableclothes that I hadn't had a chance to treat because I had several people over for dinner in quick succession. It probably had a month to set in. My husband followed the directions on the bottle, and when it came out of the wash, the stains were completely gone! I try my best to keep an all natural household, and this helps me stay that way. This is NOT that product. The smell is wonderful - I will give it that. However, it did not rinse out! The smell was still very heavy and the stains actually DARKENED once we put the items in the dryer!! I had to use a prewash with vinigar to get this horrible product out of the fabric. The natural oils adhere to the fabric and block the dirt from coming out. Total waste of money and will ruin your clothes - cannot recommend. Pros

I've used this on fresh cherry stains, blackberries, grass stains, and it really, really works. And though the directions say not to let dry on clothes, well, we've let it dry pretty much every time and it still works just as well. Pros

Either they didn't work, or they bleached my fabric. Since going green and buying only non-toxic, biodegradable products that haven't been tested on animals, I thought I'd give this a try. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised. It works fabulously. It gets out everything I've tried it on. I will always buy this. The only negative is the bottle has a spray and stream option, but both stream. That gets a little messy. Pros

Seems to work as well as the national brands, but I tend to use non-chlorine bleach on top of stain remover when necessary. I do not find myself using extra or that this is ineffective. Pros
