Except for this one, all supposedly unscented shampoos and conditioners still had the natural scent of herbal ingredients, which also bothered me, or just plain stank. Rosemary scent is great in salad dressing, but not on my hair !! This is just like regular conditioner, but no added scent of any kind, just the smell of the soap/conditioner. I have fine hair that is especially susceptible to static electricity in winter, and Earth Science Conditioner greatly reduces this problem. My fine hair is also easily weighed down by heavy, greasy conditioners, and this product is nice and light--not oily. However, the dry ends of my hair still feel like straw. At least it doesn't have any objectionable perfumes. REVIEWS Reviewed by 42 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros

Best Uses Comments about Earth Science Conditioner For Sensitive Hair & Scalp, Fragrance Free, 12 fl oz: I recently had to switch to all fragrance-free products and this seems true to that. Unfortunately, having been using it for about 6 weeks now, my hair has never been so tangly. It knots up at the ends. The strands do not seem to slide off each other like they do with regular conditioners, and when I try to correct this by rinsing slightly less, I end up with residue. I hate to waste the rest, but I'm looking for a different product.

Comments about Earth Science Conditioner For Sensitive Hair & Scalp, Fragrance Free, 12 fl oz: I first bought the ES Fragrance-free Shampoo. It is truly fragrance-free and works well, but I soon realized that I would have to start using a conditioner again if I wanted to keep using the ES shampoo (and I do). Fortunately, the conditioner is just as fragrance-free as the shampoo. They both work very well and are quite gentle, but they also definitely work better together.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Earth Science Conditioner For Sensitive Hair & Scalp, Fragrance Free, 12 fl oz: I use DHS unscented fragance free shampoo, but my hair was so utterly dry afterward. I desperately needed a fragrance free conditioner. I took a gamble on this product and it turned out great! I have no headaches or irritation from the natural scent. It moisturizes beautifully and I can comb my hair without a giant wad of hair falling out! The only thing I wish is that the bottle didn't go so quickly. I just ordered 3 more bottles. A+
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Earth Science Conditioner For Sensitive Hair & Scalp, Fragrance Free, 12 fl oz: I bought this product because I am very sensitive to scents. I have had a cough and perfumes make it worse. I wish I liked this conditioner more---I can say only that it's okay. When I finger-comb my hair while rinsing out the product, the tangles do not come out easily. When I comb my wet hair after showering, I have to work at the tangles quite a bit. Better than if no conditioner had been used but not great. I would buy it hands-down for being unscented except that it doesn't work very well for me. My hair also feels a little "dirty" when dry.

Best Uses Comments about Earth Science Conditioner For Sensitive Hair & Scalp, Fragrance Free, 12 fl oz: bought this for my daughter who has eczema. used this in conjunction with the earth science shampoo and it made her scalp itch. am not sure if it's the shampoo or the conditioner that made her scalp itch, but am giving up on both since she needs both shampoo and conditioner.

Comments about Earth Science Conditioner For Sensitive Hair & Scalp, Fragrance Free, 12 fl oz: I have sensitive skin. I found out a few years ago that anything with fragrance in it would cause my skin to break out. I switched my facial cleansers and lotions but didn't want to switch my shampoo and conditioner because I have extremely thick coarse hair. I finally gave in because my skin would not clear up and now I have the best of both worlds. My hair looks great and my skin is healing nicely. Great for anyone with sensitive skin.

Best Uses Comments about Earth Science Conditioner For Sensitive Hair & Scalp, Fragrance Free, 12 fl oz: I tried the shampoo with the conditioner. The shampoo was drying, but worked well enough when followed by the conditioner. The conditioner is a little light for my hair, but is adequate. I will still be looking for other fragrance free hair products that work better for me, but this is good enough for now.

Comments about Earth Science Conditioner For Sensitive Hair & Scalp, Fragrance Free, 12 fl oz: My toddler son and I have extremely sensitive skin and until now we have both been using only baking soda and water to clean both skin and hair. I finally broke down and decided to try out some new products, at the risk of a major breakout (we have trouble with both acne and eczema). From the very first wash, my scalp started to itch and tingle like an outbreak was about to erupt. I am now 4 washes in and my scalp feels dry and itchy all the time, the acne has returned around my face and neck, and the eczema has returned to my scalp. I'm certain that this product would be useful to someone with a lesser condition than what my son and I suffer from, but it looks like I'll be returning to the baking soda washes. The biggest downside besides my personal reaction is the smell. It's not potent and it does rinse clean, but it is unpleasant during use, nonetheless.
