These are great pillows for so many reasons and have so many uses but DO NOT WASH IF THEY CONTAIN FLAX SEEDS. The flax seeds will turn to mush and your pillow will be ruined. How do I know this? I have made many of these pillows in small sizes to huge ones that you can lay on. If you plan to freeze them put them in a zip lock bag just for added protection. Air them outside on a sunny day to freshen them and make them last longer.

Although this is advertised as being a dark green on the site, what came is actually a light aqua. Which is fine, because to me, that's prettier. This stay cold very long, and fragrance is minimal. However, if one has a true migraine, fragrance may be a negative. I don't like that the cover has to be dry-cleaned, or at least so the directions say. Since it's coming in contact w/ my eyes, I want to be able to wash it periodically (and I'll probably try, by washing it in a laundry bag on the delicate cycle, or in the sink). It does have that nice weight to it that makes the cold seep in a bit more, which feels good. Because it's silk, it slips off the face easily- you have to be lying down to use it hands-free, of course. But I still like it for blocking out light & bringing dry coldness to my eyes, especially when I have a headache.

I use it every day/night when I do my breathing exercises and when I go to bed. I love the scent. Smells just like it says and it is very mild. I personally would like the scent to be a little stronger. It would be nice to have some aromatheraphy with my eyetherapy :) Before I use it I always take a big deep snif in and allow the scent to linger in my memory right before I place it on my eyes.

This wonderful little eye pillow blocks light and provides a cooling touch to the eyelids. It is perfect when you want to fall asleep in a room with less than ideal sleep-inducing darkness, or if you wish to fall back to sleep after "someone" has turned on the lights before you are ready to get up. It has a soothing scent, too. Finally, it is priced right.

Best eye pillow out there. Great to de-stress with, excellent if you have a headache or need to sleep at odd hours if you work shifts (shuts light out TOTALLY!). I find it is GREAT to use in conjunction with earphones and music or a relaxation recording. I occasionally empty out the little seeds and just throw it in the washing machine, despite the "dry clean only" tag. A nice little investment/ treat for yourself.

This is my second purchase of this eye pillow, Dita (my skunk) stole the first and made a bed out of it. Since she only likes the best and softest quality fabric, this is a huge vote of confidence. Personally, the weight is perfect, the scent is perfect, it puts me to sleep, de-stresses me, reduces swelling, and even helps relieve my killer migraines. As an esthetician and avid eye pillow user, this is the best so far! BONUS: the removable sleeve makes it washable, too! Just keep it away from your pets!!!

After dealing with post-LASIK dry eye syndrome for the past year, I decided to try this eye pillow. I just pop it into the microwave for about 30 seconds for a mild heat and place it over my eyes for a few minutes. Seems to help so far, and it's definitely relaxing.

This is a great little pillow with a great little pillow case. If you are only going to use it occasionally you will love it! I use mine every night for sleeping, if I lay down for a nap, and if I have a migraine. Because of this frequent use the cover tends to rip at the seams. I have gone through 3 of them in the past year (which tells you that I really love them). They are well balanced and smell great. When the scent wears off you can open the zipper and add fresh lavender or any herb you prefer. The only drawback that I can see is that the covers need to be dry cleaned. I did wash the first ones and that only served to make them rip quicker (my fault!)
