The product states that because of the bamboo fibers that it will regulate your foot temperature that when its cold out, it will keep feet warm & when its hot out it will keep feet cool. I found that it only keeps feet cool. I do not recommend wearing these in winter time. My feet stayed so cold every time I've worn them. I had also bought some for a friend, because she needed thicker,softer & warmer socks since she's been diagnosed with RA & she had the same complaint & wasn't too happy with her feet being cold in winter so I told her to just wait & only wear them in the summertime.
