If the strip sticks too tightly to the skin and is painful or difficult to take off, wet the strip thoroughly so that it slides off easily. Never rip off the strip abruptly or forcefully.

These work just as well as the more expensive types. I am definitely a pore strip buyer for life.
For those who've never tried pore strips before, make sure you wet your skin thoroughly before applying them (the water activates them and helps them stick to your skin). Also make sure they are COMPLETELY dry before removing them slowly (do not rip them off!). If you don't wait until they're totally dry they not only won't work as well but they might also be painful to remove.
They do stick to your skin pretty well, so it might be a little painful or uncomfortable to remove (this goes with the territory). If it seriously hurts, wet it down and you'll be able to get it off fine (though you may sacrifice the gunk the strip grabbed).
I like to use one on my nose, one on my forehead, and cut one in half to use on the remainder of my cheeks. Sometimes I also use one on my chin.
It's really fun looking at all the gunk it got out of my pores. It's my favorite part. :P
I said I wished this brand could be cheaper because I miss my dollar store brand. Once you've paid $1 for a pack of six you don't want to go back to paying more. :(

I have VERY sensitive skin so if your in the same boat as me I would recommend to not get this... it took the blackheads out but gave me scabs all OVER my nose... I thought that maybe it was just a fluke... but sadly when I used it for the second time the same thing happened... but it was MUCH worse the second time around... it was as if I had been sunburnt.

It's easy peel off, easy stick on, easy rip off. Pulls crud out of pores but leaves a residue that has to be washed off. The biggest draw back is that it contains paraben.

I've bought 4 boxes of these pore strips and have never encounter a problem with the strips (defective or difficulties peeling it off the back). I'm always a brand buyer and Biore has always been the "pore strip brand" so when I found Earth Therapeutics I was so happily surprise with the strips. They are effective and much cheaper. They stick on very well and will hurt a bit when you pull it off. I do think that for sensitive skin, it might be a bit aggressive; it sticks tightly to the skin. For my skin, I think it works fine. It pulls out some of the things I didn't think was under my skin.

The first time I wore them they removed a lot and I was surprised. They worked better than the most common brand. However, when I used again one week later as recommended it didn't remove much. I wasn't expecting miracles so I'm ok with that, I'll just won't use it every week. What doesn't please me is that they're announced as a natural product and they contain two harmful ingredients: butylene glycol and methylparaben. I'm not so happy about this so I don't know if I'll buy again, depends on whether I find a better replacement. Some reviews said it was hard to remove from protecting film, but I didn't find it hard at all, very easy to apply.

My husband and I used it, and it didn't get many pores out. I know we used it correctly, since I used to use other brands, and they worked better. I was very dissapointed, but the price wasn't that bad.

I really love these strips, after finding out that the brand I usually use tests on animals I am so glad to have finally found cruelty free pore strips that actually work. Since I wear makeup almost everyday, my pores become clogged very quickly and I use these religiously. Peeling the strips off your face is simultaneously intriguing and disgusting when you see all the junk that comes out of your pores! I love them :)

I actually went through an entire box without getting any off the backing. Sometimes the fluff would separate from the adhesive, and at other times the liner would come off around the edges of the strip and continue to stick on the strip. An entire defective box? Something is wrong with the manufacturing or storage. Never had this problem with Biore.
