One thing I would like to mention is that the directions on the box say that you must use them every other day to see a dramatic difference with the dark circles or puffiness. I have never used this product ofter enough to comment on it's effectiveness, though I do think it reduces some of the puffness and makes me look less tired for about a day after I use it.
But what I use it for is to sooth my aching, burning eyes after a long day of work, school, and staring at a computer screen. And they feel wonderful, and are a great help to have some relaxing time to myself after a bad day.
I highly recommend them if you want to kick back and relax, but not as much if you are truly looking for results.

Have purchased these since PONDs quit making cucumber eye pads, which is awhile. Over past couple of years, the thickness of the pads has been cut in half to where they're like tissue paper, there are only 5 sets in a pkg and the price keeps going up and up and up...so you pay more and get less and have to keep restocking constantly. They're good and are refreshing and soothing, but they're not the miracle cure this price suggests.

I have very dry eyes which get red and itchy. I store these in the door of the refrigerator, and use them to sooth my eyes. When my eyes are really hurting, I use them underneath an IMAX eye mask (which I store in the freezer).

Pads arrived dried out which I didn't notice when they first arrived. I contacted the company that makes them and they do not stand behind there product. They said sometimes they dry out.

Wonderful for when you wake up with puffy eyes and need to be somewhere and look presentable. Just keep them in the fridge, allow yourself about 15-20 min to lie down, place over eyes and relax and they will somewhat improve the area. Not a miracle cure, but soothing and does reduce the puffiness somewhat. Pleasant smell.
Five in a pkg and the price is annoying, but I only use them when I have a problem which fortunately isn't that often. Great for when you're overtired, overworked, have allergies or after a big night out and you need to look fresher the next morning. Follow with some kind of eye gel (refrigerated) and you're good to go.
