was expecting it to improve texture and exfoliate skin. so far i haven't found that to be the case. i'll keep trying, but not counting on anything. which means its just a cheap body puff without the puff. good for traveling though since it doesn't take up much space.

This sponge is very effective in sluffing skin, gentle enough to use daily. I previously rated this sponge 2.5 stars and thought it did not last long and wasted soap. I bought another by accident and found that I WAS WRONG. The loop for hanging it breaks, but that doesn't bother me - the sponge makes my skin VERY smooth. The exfoliating action is GREAT. I've noticed a difference in my skin all over (not face). It requires only a little bit of body wash for a good lather that lasts the whole bath or shower, that's a PLUS. My initial rating of this sponge was so wrong as I was using this sponge wrong. It's just a matter of really rinsing it well, squeezing it as close to dry as possible when done. I think I put too much body wash on it the first time I rated this, hence not getting it rinsed enough so that it would work well and not become discolored. The one I use now is still bright white and works the same as when new. BTW, I used the same soap the first sponge and now. Have SIMILAR SPONGES but THIS BRAND IS BEST DEAL, WORKS BEST, LASTS LONGER. Great for summer!

I really like this sponge. At first, the sponge is a bit too rough, but after the initial use, it's just right. I've never had any problems with tearing. The material on the surface does ball up after a 6 weeks or so of usage. However, that's a length of time to replace ANY body sponge. It lasts as long as any body sponge is supposed to, but my skin receives better exfoliation with this one AND it won't fall apart like the poufy ones tend to do. I will keep purchasing this product. Only 4 stars, because it's hard to squeeze out all the suds to let it completely dry at the end of my shower sometimes.

Before this exfoliating sponge was changed, I liked it. This sponge is now too big and bulky in your hand, and it "balls" up on the surface. I don't like it much, and wish they hadn't changed it. I'm on to new and different items.

The outer material of the sponge it's covered in came apart in less than a week. There is now a big hole in one side of the material, and the sponge is hanging out. Had to throw it away already.

I have tried this sponge, and it works beautifully. The gentle exfoliation works great, and I'm so glad that I found more at drugstore.com.

This sponge was not worth the price. The outside starting tearing after 1 week of use. Inside is filled with 3 cheap flat sponges. Bad description.
