Me second purchase of this brush. It is very versatile, works well all hair types esp thicker curly. It massages scalp while making the hair less frizzy that other brushes. Much more effective yet less destructive on the hair when detangiling. :)))

I like this brush on my long thick straight hair. It gets out tangles pretty easily and it really does seem to make my hair really soft. I'm not sure about the whole scalp massaging though as the bristles seem a tiny bit too harsh on the scalp. Also, don't go throwing out all of your other brushes, while this brush is great at untangling and softening hair, it is large and difficult to use (for me at least) when actually styling hair and not just brushing it out straight. Because the brush is so large, it makes grabbing hair with one hand and brushing with the other pretty annoying and not worth the effort.

Am not pleased with this-too stiff and bristles need tips for comfort. Have long hair and would not buy product again.

I have been trying to find the "perfect" brush for my hair for years. Synthetics seem to shred my long, fine hair and split ends. Boar's hair or other natural animal products, I tend to be allergic to, not to mention that they don't reach far enough down through my hair to make my scalp feel massaged or that I've had a good brushing. These wood bristles are fantastic, gentle on my hair, long and strong enough to do a great job. My only complaint is that I still haven't found the best way to clean this brush. Still, I liked it well enough to come back and order a second one and now my daughter is asking for her own for Christmas.

i am so happy i bought this for myself...unhappy that i bought a $50+ brush for my sister for christmas when this might be much better! the natural bristles feel amazing, i feel like marsha brady addicted to brushing my hair. the brush itself is quite bulky and i fear for my toes when i drop it, but the feeling is definitely worth it. plus it's a nice looking brush to just leave on the counter. so far, the brush has also been very easy to clean, unlike other brushes i've had that collect dust and hair.

Such a good head massage - bristles provide the perfect pressure. Might not be good at getting big knots out, but it gets small tangles out really well. Also makes my hair nice and shiny! I was surprised by the value for this brush. I've had it for a month and has held up well. The only negative is that it's hard to clean the hair that gets caught in it.

This brush is wide with medium sized bristles. I have thick long hair and the brush goes through smooth and it does not create tangles as I am brushing my hair wet or dry. My hair is all the way down my back. I would recomend this product to anyone whose has medium to long length hair.

I didn't realize that having a new brush could make such a difference til I threw out the one I'd been using for years. This brush is made of a nice-looking wood, works with wet and dry hair, gives a gentle scratch/massage to your head.

My hair is thick & gets tangled easily. All the other plastic brushes I have ever used pull & break my hair. This brush is everything I had hoped it would be. It does not break my hair, it can brush it out (with some leave in conditioner) with out much effort & the wood bristles 'massage' my scalp also. Where has this brush been all my life - I love it.

I use this brush to massage my scalp after I wash my hair. I've been using it for a few months and it's very durable.. I'm not having any problems with the brush. The bristles are firm, but it gets the job that I need done.
