This is a good product for people at home. This is not the wilderness kit or car crash type kit. It gives you one of all of the important bandages, but we all know more than one is needed in an emergency. I'd advise buying a larger kit.
I love this kit. I keep one in each car as well as my diaper bag. It has everything I need for simple scrapes and bumps. I really like that everything is kept in place in its little pockets and is easy to find. Just the right size with good quality products.
Our family has the Easy Care First Aid Kit in every car we own. It is a great price, takes up little space, and is well organized. I never find myself "digging" through the kit to find what I need, the compartments are well-organized and labeled. I highly recommend this product to all active families! With our three boys involved in sports year-round and participating in a lot of outdoor activities, this first aid kit is used frequently. What I like most about the kit is the small compact size, yet it holds everything we've needed in those emergency situations. We've gotten so many comments from other parents, asking where we got our kits, and I've happily recommended the product. It is a great price but as important, it is a well-organized, complete first aid kit.
I loved this kit because it had what I needed when I needed it. This kit treats a wider range of injuries than the other kits I shopped for. Many kits have just band aids, but when I am on the go, I want to be able to treat cuts & scrapes as well as burns, sprains, insect bites, etc. This kit has the capacity to treat a wider variety of injuries than other kits.
This is a good/compact kit for on the go, not for home or office for sure due to its limited supply. Frankly, at year 2006 you could get a better organized first aid kit from other companies with a much cheaper price. The reason I give it only 3 stars for I felt ripped off for the price.
I didn't realize just how ill prepared I was for an emergency until I received an Easy Care first aid kit as a gift. At first, I thought this kit was just like many others I had seen, but when I opened it up, I immediately recognized the difference, and my old first aid kit went in the garbage! The Easy Care kit certainly lives up to its name. The components are organized by injury, so in an emergency I can find what Im looking for quickly. Plus, the instruction cards tell me step by step how to treat any type of injury. And unlike my old first aid kit, the Easy Care kit is not just an oversized box of Band Aids. It contains a wide assortment of high quality components, for all types of injuries. I especially like the tweezers, which are metal, not plastic like the ones in my old kit. I feel a lot better prepared now that I have an Easy Care first aid kit. And you can bet that I will be giving one to everyone on my gift list this year!
Why didn't anyone think of organizing a first aid kit like this before? It makes it so easy when the items are organized by injury with detailed instructions inside. And the instructions go beyond other first aid kits that tell you to call your doctor if it is anything more than a cut or scrape. For instance, the Easy Care instructions tell you how to clean a wound, dress it and how to tell if it is infected or not. The kit even includes antihistamines for life-threatening allergic reactions from bee sting or insect bites! This kit will be great for the car, going camping, or for coaching my son's sport teams!
I'm a mom of a 3-year-old little boy. Recently, I was at the park and had my Easy Care Kit in my stroller. Another mom's child had fallen off the playground and gotten a splinter in her little hand. She was crying terribly so I gave her my sterile splinter pickers from my first aid kit that I carried in my stroller. She was so impressed; she asked to see the kit and where she could buy it. I love how this kit is so organized, especially by injury. When my little boy is hurt, I want to find first aid supplies, FAST! This kit does all the organizing for me, so I don't have too! Plus, I love that when it falls upside down, everything stays in its place. I'll never use another first aid kit again and will recommend this to all of my family and friends.
I was looking for a kit for a motorcycle vacation and found most had lots of Band-Aids and maybe some Neosporin, but not much more. This kit looked comprehensive, portable, and said it had instructions, so I bought it. 2 days in, I burned my leg on my exhaust pipes, opened the kit and easily found the "compartment" I needed. Inside was an instruction card that told me how to treat the burn, and everything I needed to do it right. There was even some Motrin that I took to deal with the pain. Blister on my foot? Same story: open, read and treat. If I had any other kit, dealing with my burn and blister would have meant putting a Band-Aid on and hoping it didn't get infected. Instead, I was able to treat my injuries properly and resume my vacation. I felt prepared with this kit, and had piece of mind on my trip that I was ready for anything I might encounter. I'm buying another for my car and one for my home, and would suggest this kit to anyone.
