I was looking for a good stain treatment to use in the wash and read a review about how this works so much better than the brand name stain treater I was looking at. This Ecover Laundry Bleach is made entirely of the stain fighter found in the brand name, instead of the stain fighter and lots of filler. And since I only use 1-2 teaspoons per wash load, it lasts a long time! This is a fantastic item and I'm so glad I tried it!

I wanted to completely rid my house of bleach, and this helps me keep my whites white without that harsh chemical. Also a good grout cleaner!

Switched to Ecover from Clorox 2 as an experiment, and I won't switch back! It's a small box, but when used according to directions, it lasts much longer (and is therefore way more economical). Ecover also is gentler and just as effective on bright and dark clothes, and it keeps whites very white (preventatively...but is not super-effective on whites that have already grown dingy). I typically have a large load of uniform whites that are often stained or discolored, and they stay incredibly white, even preventing the ever-feared pit stain. Love this product!

I found this product totally by accident while looking for a bleach replacement. I never did care for the odor of bleach, nor the damage it can do to fabrics if you accidently splash it. Sodium Percarbonate is the activate ingredient here. One tablespoon full added to your wash cyle will yield remarkable results. Remember you still need to add your favorite laundry detergent too! Great smell (just clean) Colors will remain bright. I did a test on whites washed in bleach vs Percarbonate and the was no visible difference! It also works very well at eliminate pet urine odors. Wash the area first, then mix up a small batch of Percarbonate and warm water...then let it sit. Blot up excess after an hour or so.The results will surprise you and when you figure out how inexpensive this is.... you'll never go back to expensive enzyme products.

If you you find this hard to use as one reviewer mentioned, you'd shouldn't be allowed to operate a vehicle :^)

I am extremely conscience of toxic products & bleach is on the top of the list. I have pets & I have issues with putting toxins in our water system. I liked the Dishwasher Tabs so much, I figured I would give this bleach substitute a try. It works GREAT! I can feel good about using this product.

I use this in my white loads for laundry, but only notice a very small bleaching effect. I bought this because of the good reviews, but will try a different product next time. I was disappointed.

The positives of this product are that it is effective, not expensive, and is environmentally friendly. My problem is that you have to use a measurung cup to measure out the 2 tbsp you need per load, and the powder always makes a mess because there is no pouring guide like a salt container to keep it from spilling. This is a very small package, but if you dispense according to instructions it'll last. I find it works best with warm/cold or warm settings. I have a front loader and use liquid soap. I have to stir the beach into the soap til it is mixed well, or at the end of the cycle there are chunks of bleach still in the soap dispenser. I also find that if I add a cup of white vinegar in the wash cycle on top of the bleach and soap, I get an added boost, and no your clothes don't smell anything but clean.
