This was the I used this gel and it was great. It did not dry my face out like many other do and it did not have a scent, which was a pleasant surprise. My face felt smooth and clean afterwards.

m 60 and I've never reviewed a product for anyone. This is the best shaving cream I've ever used. It goes on very smoothly, creamily, spreads easily and quickly, and it makes your face feel good afterword.The reviewer that complained about nicks and cuts must work for Gillette. Folks - read the label and see whats in the can. They are all mostly the same thing. What separates this shaving cream, and a few other deluxe formulas, is a few added ingredients that make it more expensive and a little unique. In my book, this cream is special. The feel left on your face, probably due to the menthol, and the very smooth application are what make it worth the extra money.This shaving cream is what led me to drugstore.com. [...] quit carrying it so I searched for a source online. Well, here it is, and here am I writing a review. I definitely recommend.

This shaving gel seems to work well for me. I'm used to using a traditional foam shaving cream so it took a couple of days to get used to the consistency of this product, but now I think I actually prefer the gel. The smell isn't overpowering, and it leaves a nice cool sensation when you're done. As a GEL it is a little thicker than most when dispensed. The scent, for me, was subtle and it clearly has a cool feeling as you apply it. My MACH 3 had no difficulties but it does take a little bit more effort to clear the blades as you shave.

Face definitely feels smooth and not dry throughout the day.

[...]. It feels and smells sweet like a gel toothpaste, both of which I personally found very unpleasant. I could maybe get used to the icy cool feeling it left my face with as I shaved. Because it is thick, unlike regular foamy shaving cream, it caused my double-edged razor to turn and bite and I received three nicks the first time I tried it. Subsequently I reduced the speed of my shaving and the attack angle of the razor, but I still cut or nicked myself at least once or twice at every shave. After a week of this my wife had seen enough blood and convinced me to throw it away. First day back with regular foamy cream and no more nicks or cuts. I half jokingly added "enemies" to the best uses list but don't know if it or this review will stick. If I lived next to a frat house whose inhabitants were noisy, rude, crude, and socially unacceptable, I might consider buying a case or two of it and leaving on the doorstep one evening. What fun to see their faces in the morning! Otherwise, forget it.
