Elasta QP has figured it out in a major way! I read the other reviews about this product, and I think what was said could be said about any product if you don't use it in the most effective way. I wear my medium-length hair in semi-natural ringlets. (I say semi-natural because I apply a texturizer for about 2 minutes, literally, every 6 weeks or so, just to get a little bit of control without losing my natural curl pattern). I start each day by dampening my hair slightly with water. I then apply the Elasta QP Mango Butter Moisturizer (which eliminates frizz and adds volume). Then I apply a medium amount of the Leave-in-Conditioner (which gives me moisture). Next, I add a small amount of Hair Glaze Gel (which gives me hold and some shine). Finally, I somewhat generously apply the Curl Crème Pudding (which gives me definition). I work it all in to the strands of my hair as thoroughly as possible for a minute or two, then let it air dry (which takes around an hour or so). The result is beautifully soft ringlet curls that shine and hold all day. The beauty part about Elasta QP products is that they do EXACTLY what they say they do, if you use them in the proper combination. I couldn't be any more pleased, and I will keep buying this product for as long as they keep selling it!
My Beauty Routine Takes:
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I used this in combo with argan oil with my twist outs and braid outs. I first tried it with no oils and even though it did curl my hair to an extent, my hair felt so dry in the morning. With argan oil, it's a little bit better but still so drying. I am prone to dandruff so I do not like a product like this that dries my hair out.
This product is good and produces pretty good curls but I feel like it's not moisturizing enough to use alone. It's a water-based product and not an oil-based so it does build up which it good. For me, the best way to use this product is 1. Make sure hair is somewhat wet 2. Apply oil of choice to hair. 3. Use the curl pudding. Lastly, this product really requires a long time to dry so try not to have your hair too wet when using it and give yourself a good 12 hours for dryness.

Apply liberally to clean, conditioned hair. Apply using fingers or wide tooth comb to evenly distribute from roots to the ends of your hair. Allow your curls to air dry. For maximum curl elongation repeat process above twice and air dry.
Styling Uses: Excellent for Fingerstyle, 2 Strand Twist and Spiral Rod Sets. Transitioners can apply to blend textures. Texturizers can define curls and waves.
