I have had psoriasis for quite a few years, and have tried everything to stop the itch. This is the first OTC product that actually stops the itching.

I put it on my legs and withing minutes the itching was gone. I recommend this product.

Bought this for my sister's elbow. We have tried everything up to a $150. sticky tapefrom the DR. Nothing seems to work. We have just started to try this. It is very greasy , but very easy to apply, I would suggest a bandage (Not to get the grease all over), So far we have not seen any great things. She is still using it, so she must see a little difference.

I have BAD eczema, really big patches on my thighs and lower back, small patches in other places - for YEARS I just lived with it... scaly itchy and ugly... I'd scratch and leave big piles of skin flakes on the floor, I'd scratch until the patches weeped blood. Doctors prescribed some stuff once that worked pretty well but said I couldn't stay on it more than a month. Tried every lotion out there including Dermarest, cortizone creams, Eucerin... they helped a little with the itching but not at all with the underlying condition.

Made my first order with drugstore.com for something else and just thought I'd see if they had something I hadn't tried yet and I found this stuff and in less than a month I'm almost cured. There's now just a slight discoloration of healthy skin where before there was reptile skin -and it doesn't itch.

Obviously everybody's eczema responds differently to any particular treatment but for me this stuff is a miracle. Feels like lard and smells like a railroad tie... big deal. I hope they never stop making it. I haven't found it in any retail drug stores. Looks like I'm going to get about three months out of one tub.

Applied every morning after shower to affected areas. It does smell like medicine when going on but the smell does not stay with you. It feels greasy going on but is absorbed quickly, no residue. Saw real improvement to my skin within 3 days. I wil keep this product on hand for sure. Really happy with the results.

Was looking to replace an old Coal Tar ointment to get rid of psoriasis on my elbows. Applied twice daily - elbows looked normal again after only three days. One jar should last you ten years.

My husband developed extremely dry scalp after he began swimming at the gym. We have never gotten it diagnosed but it looked really bad. His scalp would basically flake and shed all day long to where he had piles all over his shoulders and clothes.

We've tried all kinds of products; Sulfer8, DermaE, Dermarest, Scalpacin, Head&Shoulders, TeaTree, and all kinds of other "natural" products. This is the only one that has worked. The first week he tried it, we saw results. His scalp got better and he had less flaking. But because he still swims he's going to have to keep using the product.

The only advice that I have is to do what works best for you. The directions say to use the product at night w/a cap on but my hubs doesn't like anything on his head or body while he's sleeping (he takes it off in his sleep), he wears it in the place of hair gel in his hair during the day. The product does have a STRONG odor and it does have a texture. But once my hubs got used to the smell (he insists he doesn't even smell it anymore) he wears it in his hair during the day and it doesn't bother me at all by the time he comes home from work.

I would recommend this product for people w/dry, flaky skin. NOT dandruff! More skin related such as psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema...
