I've been a Lancôme tinted moisturizer with spf 20 user for years and wanted something with higher SPF. Bought because of all the good review but used it once and dries out my skin. Gave it to my sister to use and dries out her skin too. Can this be returned since we've only used it twice.
This product saved my skin. I wear sunscreen daily, and I was using a chemical sunscreen (cetaphil) when i started noticing my face was increasingly sensitive and felt little painful when I applied sunscreen in the morning. So I decided to switch to a physical blocker - my skin has gotten better, and I don't feel any pain at all when applying in the morning. Plus, the tinted formula makes this a breeze to rub in, and it even provides enough coverage that I just apply a little powder on top and I'm ready to go!
There are no cons in my opinion, this product exceeds my expectations... it goes on easily, no burning, evens skin tone, is not greasy. What more could you ask for?
This product was recommended to me by a cosmetic dermatologist. I had some 'pre-cancer' spots on my face and she suggested I use this everyday. This is the only product that I could find that has a high SPF - 41 (and reasonably priced). Most drugstore products just have 15 SPF. The tinted aspect is a bonus for me. I have fair skin and am 44 years old. I use this everyday as a base, add some under eye concealer and eye makeup, blush and I'm done. I feel like I am being pro-active in preventing skin cancer and slowing the aging process just a bit :)

Due to sensitive skin and using retin-A (which makes my skin even more sensitive) I have tried dozens of natural sunscreens. Usual problems are the white film (from zinc & titanium) and greasy. SO happy to find one that works this well, I don't have to use foundation with it and it lasts!
Another benefit of this sunscreen is that it qualifies for use with FSA or HSA accounts, which helps with cost (as a budget buyer wish it was a little less).
I just use this on my face and neck, for my body I use Aubrey's natural sun 30+, which is great but a little to greasy for my face.
I use this in the summer in place of my usual foundation. It's light and gives good sun protection and light color. I add my face powder over it and go.
this is an excellent product that goes on smoothly with almost a powder-like finish. I use this most on my chest/neck and upper arms, etc. Good for daily sunscreen users that want a product that goes on easily and smoothly....and a physical sunscreen! This was recommended by a skincare professional, and I love it! (also a better price here than elsewhere I've found). Could also be good used on the face with the tint and finish, but I happen to have another product I use on the face. Try it!
I used to be a devoted Arcona Reozone user. However, the past few tubes I've received have been streaky and greasy. So I searched for another natural sunscreen that I could use daily under my makeup. I found this sunscreen on the EWG (Environmental Working Group) website when searching for products that are nontoxic. The EltaMD UV Physical has no noticeable smell, is lightly tinted to match natural skin color, is not the least bit greasy, stays on all day and is completely invisible. It's as perfect as any sunscreen can possibly be and it's safe and non-toxic. I recommend it highly to anyone who would like to protect their skin. I wear it every day of the year.
