I couldn't stand the taste of this in water alone- I could taste the little bit of sodium that's in this product & it was just nasty to me. But I put a packet of this into high-pulp orange juice (the kind not from concentrate & that's not pasteurized, which ruins the nutritional value of the juice) & it tastes fine. Not too much sweetness is added & the fizziness is pretty limited (which is just fine for me). I'm too cheap to take these on a daily basis, but I do take them if I'm starting to feel run-down, and it helps me ward off colds. They're not a replacement for a flu shot, being a non-smoker or using hand sanitizer...but having them on hand to use at the first sign of "sniffles" is good common sense. I'd highly recommend daily use to those with a perpetually compromised immune system, though. The packets are easy & lightweight to carry in your purse, glove compartment or suitcase during travel away from home, too.

I was first introduced to this product by my daughter-in-law about two years ago. I was coming down with a cold when I arrived at my sons house in the country to cut firewood for the winter. She gave me a dose, and I started feeling relief immediately, and Cold never fully develoved. I have been taking ever since that day. It's a No-Brainer!
