My major concern was pain. That was not really an issue, in some places it stung but nothing intolerable. There are only two working heads on this model so it is not quick. What surprised me was that it seemed to clip off the hair but not pull it out. It also missed a lot. I used it on my face and overall I don't think the experiment worked very well . Additionally it irritated my skin, leaving it with small bumps like a plucked chicken and redness. Ick. Back to shaving for me. Comments about Emjoi Epi Travel Hair Remover, Battery Operated, Model AP9LC, 1 ea: Do as the instructions tell you. It takes several times before you see good results. A little pain at times. It is pulling hairs out by the roots. I notice that some hairs are not growing back. I will know more after using for a couple of months. Pros

Comments about Emjoi Epi Travel Hair Remover, Battery Operated, Model AP9LC, 1 ea: The first night I did my underarms, upper lip and lower legs. A few days later I was brave enough to try the bikini line. Legs and underarms didn't hurt at all. Bikini line wasn't painful but I could definately feel it. It felt like electricals stings on my upper lip but I'm sure I'll toughen up. Thinking about buying another to keep in the car to handle missed spots when I am out and about. Pros

Comments about Emjoi Epi Travel Hair Remover, Battery Operated, Model AP9LC, 1 ea: I have used this for a few months now. I love it. It does a wonderful job on my upper lip hair and chin hair. The first time I used it, it did hurt on my upper lip but as time went on I found that it hurt less with each use. The only place I find that it doesn't work well is on the curve of my chin. No matter how I position it, I can't get the chin hairs on the curve but other than that it works wonderfully. For this little price, it's a great buy. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Emjoi Epi Travel Hair Remover, Battery Operated, Model AP9LC, 1 ea: usual procedures in effect: hold skin taut; some irritation beginning use in heavy, coarse hair areas; with continued use, hair finer and less regrowth and minimal to no irritation; noise not an issue. highly practical. durable, used several years. rechargeable batteries last for months. Comments about Emjoi Epi Travel Hair Remover, Battery Operated, Model AP9LC, 1 ea: I've used this product for about 8-9 years. I've had both shoulders replaced & find this is the most comfortable tweezer product. I can even use it lying down in bed. It does hurt but so does tweezing and I find the longer I use it the fewer the hairs. I use it under eyebrows, between eyebrows, upper lip, cheeks, chin & underarms. I've just started to use it on the bikini line. It seems to be getting rid of ingrown hairs. So far I've convinced three others to use it and they like it as well. Those who are claiming that it pinches or leaves a rash, etc., are probably pushing it into the skin hard. Try a softer touch.. It does take a few swipes to get all the hairs but so does any other method. The benifits far outweigh the pain. If you stretch the skin, it doesn't hurt as much. Pros

Comments about Emjoi Epi Travel Hair Remover, Battery Operated, Model AP9LC, 1 ea: I am a longtime epilator user and I have always just used the most basic, corded models. I picked this compact one up on sale and it is so amazing for underarms and bikini line. Although it is great for touch-ups, I find that it is best to use when trying to remove a patch of short hairs -- sometimes if there are only a couple hairs, it will miss for some reason. It is much more gentle than the full size epilator and more precise. I find it easier to maneuver. II continue to use the full-size one on my legs, but this has easily become one of my favorite devices. Pros

Best Uses Comments about Emjoi Epi Travel Hair Remover, Battery Operated, Model AP9LC, 1 ea: I've been going over the same patch of hair and have yet to see results. But it hurts, that's for sure! So what the hell is this thing doing anyway? Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » ![]() |
