ThIs Product is Great for Underarms. Smooth finish, although a few hairs remain. I tried it along my sideburns and face which caused so much irritation it took a week to clear up. Not large enough to use on Legs. Works Ok on Bikini. I plan to try Braun Silk-epil for larger areas.

I use this for my upper lip, chin and between the brows - carefully! It does hurt, there is no getting around it BUT it hurt more to wax and cost a lot more. I get used to the discomfort of pulling out those fine lip hairs by the root. The more often I use it, the less discomfort I have to bear. Overall it is worth the discomfort to not have to pay for waxing and to not have a mustache. I have very fine hair and not a lot although I now have dark hairs and didn't used to. It's definitely vastly superior to ordinary tweezing.

This product is so great that I bought a few for other people, too. This is good on both coarse and fine hair.

The first week, I just cleared a few hairs at a time, not trying to cover the whole area at once. By the 2nd week, I could use it everywhere on the same go, because half the hair hadn't grown back and there wasn't much to pull.

After about a month, I noticed that I really didn't need to use it every day. This amazed me, because I'd been using an electric shaver TWICE a day.

Some hairs don't grow back for ages, and the ones that do always grow in softer and wispier at the points, rather than thick, blunt, and prickly like they do when shaved. This is a million times better than any shaving (blade or electric), and there is no nasty chemical smell like with hair removal creams. Wonderful.

Warning: Being greatly enthused about this product, I later bought the top of the line rechargeable cordless Emjoi Light Caress, knowing it has twice as many tweezer blades and thinking it would be speedier and not need batteries. That more expensive product was a disappointment. The fancy gold-plated tweezer wheels are not as precision alligned on that expensive product as the stainless steel tweezers are on this wonderful little bargain. The more expensive product pinches.

I much prefer this little battery operated model, which can be used without discomfort. I'm tempted to buy a stockpile of them so I'll be sure to have some in 30 or 40 years, even if the company goes out of business. I never want to be without one of these.

This is the best thing that ever happened to my underarms! Also perfect for the biniki area. For [$] it can't be beat. I bought one in January 2006, have used the heck out of it, and am just now replacing it as it is beginning to run a little "rough." I previously got my biniki area waxed, but I like Emjoi better; it is quicker, less painful, and obviously much cheaper and more convenient. I used to shave my underarms in the past but always got horrible bumps and irritation. With Emjoi, my underarms stay totally smooth as long as I use the loofa and tea tree oil - very important to prevent ingrown hairs, as with any epilation technique! - and the hair has grown back much thinner. Likewise the bikini area. It didn't work well on my legs where the hair is very thin and blonde, but I don't mind shaving the legs. (I am allergic to all depilatories.) My only complaint is that the little plastic on/off button broke off within a month of purchase, and I have had to hold it in place with thumb while using, but it still worked, and for the price it is a relatively trivial complaint.

I like it; its very cute, small and handy. I dont really have a lot of use for it, except removing hair from my under chin and some other areas. It hurts too badly for the upper lip or anywhere else. Its pretty loud and gets a lot of the hair if its long enough! I was really hoping I wouldnt have to wait for it to grow to a certain length until I can remove it. If its stubble, forget about it; which kind of irritates me because I am young and although I am not ashamed of my excess hair I dont want people to see it! Or feel it. I am only 19! You have to go over a couple times if the hair isnt thick or longer than a half of an inch. Overall I am kind of pleased.

I use this small device everyday on my chin and upper lip because I can't see to tweeze. When it ran slow I just changed to new batteries. Still working after six months usage. Very pleased. But it does hurt some but sure does the job fast.

I bought this product a couple weeks ago, for chin and upper lip. It seems to work better than waxing and tweezing, and it is much faster too. I found it easy to use and clean. I have some mild discomfort, similar to the discomfort of waxing or tweezing.I am well pleased

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and am a bit disappointed. I used it on my chin area and it hurt a lot. I expected that but what I didn't expect was the cluster of white, painful bumps that appeared one day later all over my chin area. It was so gross and left my face tender. I'm not too sure what I did wrong. But what I did notice was that I had to go over the same area multiple times to get the majority of the hair out and never really did get it all. I can't recommend this product because it seemed like it lacked the power to get all of the hair cleanly and efficently. I would perhaps suggest at larger model that is electrically powered. It might give it the "umph" it needs.

Garbage for the money. My finishing touch works better than this. It took little to none of the hair out. I was expecting it to at least take the hair off the upper lip and chin. All it did was made my face red. Don't bother.

Mine refused to work about a week after I started using it and I only used it a few times to remove underarm hair. I think this brand needs to work on their quality control because it's sadly lacking.
