I use my Emjoi all over- Arms, legs, face. The results aren't perfect each time, but I think that as I use it, the hair will grow less and it won't matter.

It is a little too ouchy to use on my armpits of bikini line *yet* as I get used to it, I may get brave. On my legs the pain isn't an issue.

Follow the instructions to avoid irritation and ingrown hairs. You will regret it if you don't.

This is great for smaller areas, arms, face etc. I probably wouldn't use it on my legs. But it works great!! I had the original Epilady and this is so much better! Somewhat less painful but quick and easy. Would buy it again. Easy to store and travel with because of the size.

This was seriously the best [$] I ever spent. I have a bit of a dark hair/light skin problem and shaving did nothing but make the dark hairs look more coarse and unslightly. As soon as I received this I plugged it right in and got to work on my upper lip, my jawline and my feet (eeww!). No pain in these areas so far. The next day after a shower, I decided to do my underarms. Still no pain. This is a great alternative to shaving if you have dark hair growth that comes back a day after shaving. Afraid of the pain? Pop two tylenol and/or drink a glass of wine. The slight tugging of the hairs is a small price to pay for the smooth hairless feel that you are left with. Although, I have yet to do the legs!

First off it is not a charge and use device, it has to be plugged in while in use, which is a little misleading because the cord is detachable.

Secondly, the ingrown hair issue is a little intense. I have yet to find a way to use this device without breaking out like crazy.

It does miss hairs, and going over the same area over and over again to find that one rogue hair gets a little annoying.

In all it works okay for the price and it beats the heck out of tweezing individual hairs.

I agree with previous reviewer, this does not work on fine hair. I had the original Epilady from 20 years ago, which worked fabulously. When the cord gave out, I had to find a replacement. This unit is very tiny and painless...but for fine hair all it does is break off the hair and not pull from the root. It's basically like shaving so a few days later, hair has grown back.

it seems that many people like this product - but if you buy it PLEASE test a small area of your legs before you really commit to it! I followed all of the directions, exfoliated etc, and at first thought it was awesome - my legs were so smooth. a few days later, however, its seemed as if EVERY SINGLE HAIR on my legs became ingrown. my legs were a mess of scabs and scars, which lasted for a year after I used it (one time!) i spent two summers wearing jeans because I was too embarrassed of my scabbed and scarred legs to wear shorts or skirts. I had to go to a dermatologist and get a prescription bleaching cream to help fade the scars that cost [$]. Its now been two years and I think that my leg hair is finally growing back normally, and I hope to finally wear shorts this summer. im sure it works for some people , just be careful! test first!

Better off and faster with a regular tweezer. Good idea but this is not the one for me.

I use this maybe once every week, it will probably be less once I get more used to it. I don't find it to be too painful, but I don't have super hairy legs either. You do have to let it grow, or it won't grab the hair. It's awesome though. It looks like you never had hair there! I was terrified of trying my underarms because I was afraid it would hurt, but it really didn't hurt too bad. I will never go back to a regular razor!! I love it!

This Emjoi is great. Bought more for my family and friends. They love it too. Works like waxing without the big cost.
