I bought this because I hate to shave. I thought a product that could increase the time in between shaves would be awesome! I decided to try it on one leg first and let me tell you--it took FOREVER to get the lower part of my left leg done. The thing is super noisy and painful! I am a pretty tough chick, I hike, hunt, ride horses, mechanic with my husband, spend ALL my time outside and am constantly cut and bruised from various activities so I thought this kind of pain would be no big deal. I couldn't take it! Then the hair started to grow in and became very ingrown so I had nasty red welts up and down my leg. Great. I will not subject myself to that again.

I had been debating on getting an epilator or not because I was scared I would buy one then hate it and never use it. I purchased this one for the price and I really prefered a cordless. I love it, when you first start using an epilator you can't expect silky smooth legs on the first try. I had to let my hairs grow out (yuck) and it seems like every hair folicle I have grows at a different speed so its taken some time to get rid of all the hair. I am not brave enough to use it on my upper lip, I still wax that. It is not painless like the box says but like others state it does get easier and its really the first few hairs that hurt the worst then its not so bad. Don't use it within a couple of days of wanting to show your legs they are bumpy but if I don't have to shave for 6 weeks, totally worth it for a couple days of wearing jeans.

the bad - they battery does not last as long as it advertises. I followed charging instructions exactly and all I can get is enough to epilate one lower or upper leg. The cord is long enough so not too much of an issue still a little frustrating. I purchased this on price just to see if I would even like an epilator and now I wish I would have purchased one with more tweezers. But, that was my fault not the product.

I bought this at another store, never having used one before. The first use it zinged a little but the results were worth it. Now I use it every day on my upper lip. I am blonde so not too hairy. I have tattoos & this is nothing! Love it.

For my legs, I use the Emjoi Optima product, as no other epilator product on the market can remove the same amount of hair as quickly. But for my two most tender regions, I opt for this model because of the smaller head and lower speed. My OB/GYN even complimented on how professional things looked, and she's definitely more than qualified to make that kind of statement, so enjoy your Emjoi! :)

I use this instead of waxing for the bikini area. It does just as good a job as waxing and the pain is about the same as waxing. I try to use it about once a week. If I don't have alot of regrowth it isn't as painful. Bottom line works great and skin stays smooth and hair free for days. Highly recommend.

I have used epilators for 16 years. My old one was notorious for grabbing my skin. This one may be slower-going because of doing a narrower strip at a time, but it did not grab my skin one time. That alone would make me buy this again. I was amazed at how little pain was involved with this product, even though it was pulling out the roots of hair. Overall I really like this product and would buy it again. The convenience of not being attached to a cord is awesome!

good product. but can we say OW!!!! it says its painless, and everyone claims you get used to it, but I'm not sure I can get used to this pain. I think I'd rather wax!

This is a great product, I have had no trouble with it so far when it comes to removing my hair, but it is a bit noisy, as loud as a house hold mixer or electric can opener. I like that it also has an electric shaver attachment and is quite easy to take apart for cleaning. When using make sure to read and follow the directions for the best and less painful results. On a scale of one to ten for pain on the legs I'd give it a 5 on arm pits and ankles a 7, but the pain lessens the more you use it and it becomes more like a tattoo if you have ever had one or like if you poke yourself with a safety pin I'd describe it.

This product is no good, unless you have hair on your body like a man. I bought it for my upper lip and it does not work. Don't waste your money on this item. If it is too good to be true, than you know it isn't.
