Comments about Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin D Supplement Drops, 1.66 fl oz:

This stuff is gross. It smells really bad, is oily, and you have to give your baby a whole dropper full, which is hard because it obviously tastes horrible. A much better product is the DDrops Baby Vitamin D3 drops. All you need is one drop placed on the breast before breastfeeding.

Comments about Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin D Supplement Drops, 1.66 fl oz:

Our little guy does not like the way it tastes but tolerates it. I drop it in slowly because it is the only way he will swallow any of it. If I put in too much he just pushes it back out and does not end up ingesting any of it. I tasted it and it has a bad aftertaste. We only use it because our Pediatrician and the AAPA recommends it.

This is the 2nd bottle of Vit D my baby has been getting. I couldn't understand why, all of a sudden she has such problem swallowing her daily dose and frequently even spits it out. One day, I decided to smell the dropper and taste the content. Horrible! It smells very medicine-y and tastes like the worst cough syrup ever. No wonder little one hates it. I am switching back to the brand our first bottle was from. Yuck.

I needed to supplyment Vit D because she is exclusively breastfed. My baby (3 mo old) doesn't mind the taste at all, which was a relief. It smells like one of those cough syrup or almond extract.

Comments about Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin D Supplement Drops, 1.66 fl oz:

My daughter needs to take Vitamin D drops because of the low amount found in breastmilk. She has no problems with these drops and swallows them easily. They do not seem to upset her stomach at all when we give them to her in the middle of a feeding.

                Artificial ingredients??

Comments about Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin D Supplement Drops, 1.66 fl oz:

There is absolutely no need for artificial flavors and colors in a product like this (or any product)!

Vitamin D is important.. dosing my child with chemicals at the same time is unhealthy and unnecessary. Shame on Enfamil. Carlson makes a vitamin D drop for babies that is free of artificial ingredients and preservatives.

Comments about Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin D Supplement Drops, 1.66 fl oz:

Now that Vitamin D is recommmended by the American Academy of Pediatrics for all exclusively breastfed babies over 2 months, I have been searching for a Vitamin D only supplement. This is so much better than the Poly-Vi-Sol as far as taste, smell, and staining. I have not tried the Tr-Vi-Sol, so I cannot compare to that one.

Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin D Supplement Drops

                     – One concern all new moms have is ensuring their growing baby gets the nutrition they need. One vitamin babies need for growth and development is vitamin D. That's why pediatricians often recommend supplemental vitamin D for babies that are partially or completely breastfed.

Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin D Supplement Drops provides a growing baby with the vitamin D in a liquid form that's easy to use. Just squeeze the dropper bulb to release the liquid directly into your baby's mouth. You can also add it to baby formula or food. Enfamil D-Vi-Sol Vitamin D Supplement Drops is made by a brand that is often recommended by pediatricians. As a parent, you'll love the fact that it's free of sugar, gluten and lactose.
