I wouldn't buy this because of the synthetic "vitamins". None of which are form natural sources, not even close. More natural vitamins are available in liquid form for babies, they probably taste better too.

I tried to give this to my 3 months old on it's own and I think more landed on my clothes than in his mouth. The iron smell is very strong and I'm sure the taste isn't great. We mix the dose in one full bottle (4oz or more) of milk and our baby has no problem with it. So far we haven't seen any signs of constipation.

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was very prompt and box was in good condition. I was disappointed (and confused) to find that the coupon inside the box had expired in Dec 2011, when I placed the order February 2012. The expiration date was 2013 so I wasn't concerned about the medicine itself.

due to the iron in this formula the smell and taste are awful. our kids will take all other liquids medications and vitamin easily, but not these. they grimace when i try to give them this, so i tasted it myself and it is terrible! the vitamin d alone version (without iron) from this mgf does work well.

I was told to start giving this to my 2 month old. He gets nothing but bottled breast milk. He refused to eat the first few times and after that he eats off and on but when he does, he spits it right up. Breast milk is hard to come by, its very important and what's the use if he just spits up the vitamins anyway. Not to mention I tasted it and its disgusting. No fruit flavor there. And it stains everything, makes him have more gas and his stools really stink! I plan on buying something else, to heck with the iron. He can get that from my milk.

great product for my son who has been slow in gaining weight and doesn't like to eat. This adds the right amount of vitamins needed for healthy growth. It does have a strong odor, however, what works for my son is putting the drops into his gerber cereal.

I have to give this product at least 3 stars b/c its a vitamin supplement for God sakes! it is effective! it just tastes really bad. the baby gags when we swueeze it directly in her mouth. we now put it in water or juice and that goes down much better and it REALLY improved her iron count.

I messed up when ordering and ordered this product with Iron. My toddler has a lot of problems with constipation and takes MIralax daily. This product made her problem much worse, so I will have to throw them out and buy the ones without iron.

I mix it with my toddler's o.j in the morning, otherwise she hates the taste. Milk isn't a good liquid to hide the vitamins in because it absorbs the iron...for your info

My daughter had been taking tri-vi-sol with iron until recently, but I don't think she liked the way it tasted. She seems to like the poly-vi-sol with iron better. It is much easier getting her to swallow it. (But tri-vi-sol was the best thing for her when she was younger -- ask your pediatrician, don't pick based on these reviews!)

My wife and I dont know why our baby loves it, but she does, and has never had a problem taking it right out of the dropper. All products containing iron can stain, so be careful, but finding out that our baby takes her vitamins no problem was a pleasant surprise. We love this stuff for that reason, even though it doesn't taste that great to adults.
