I am the pickiest person when it comes to nutrition shakes. I can pick out the tiniest hint of that bad vitamin taste and my body will reject it. With Ensure Plus (Strawberry), I had no problem. It tastes like lightly sugared melted strawberry ice cream. Although it is kind of pricey for those on a budget, I would highly recommend purchasing it if you're able to. The budget nutrition shakes will only make you sick to your stomach from the taste alone.

I drink an Ensure in the morning or when I'm on the go. It provides nutrition that I don't otherwise get in my diet with out taking other supplements. I like the Strawberry flavor the best out of all the flavors. I just wish that it wasn't so expensive, but the deal I was offered on drugstore.com was better than any sale I've seen in the stores.

Grandpa insists that this product tastes odd unless it is thoroughly chilled. He stores the bottles in the refrigerator. Prior to drinking, Grandpa places the bottle in the freezer for about 20 minutes. At this very cold temperature, Grandpa says it tastes fine.

A dietary supplement is only a good idea if it is palatable enough for the person who needs it to consume it. Grandpa says the trick to making this palatable is low temperature.
