In the past few years, I have come to find out that I have both a dairy and a wheat sensitivity. Short of being allergic, I do react very uncomfortably when I ingest a dairy or wheat product. These can be sneaky ingredients, even when you are a label-reader, and when I haven't taken my Digest Spectrum, I notice a reaction immediately (bloating, gas, etc.). I take 2 before eating my first meal of the day, and the owner of the health food store who recommended them says that might be all I need for the day, but I also take them when I eat other grains, like in protein bars, throughout the day. I consider these a staple in my diet and always keep a stock on hand in my purse, lunchbox and gym bag. I've recommended them to a family member and now she takes them regularly too.
