It isn't overpowering, but lasts for a little while after each use. I always have one in my bathroom, and in my kitchen. I love this soap, and the fact it is paraben free, sls free, etc. It's a nice smelling soap that doesn't dry out my skin with each use. You won't regret trying this! I've bought several bottles of EO soaps (because the soaps themeselves are so good), and well over half the time, the nozzle stops working (or never works to begin with). We use it in the kitchen and the bathroom. It's gentle on skin and the smell is lovely. This doesn't dry my skin out like other hand soaps with SLS or other skin irritants. This is a great product!
