I used this product in conjunction with the lice shampoo I was using. I am still addressing this issue and it has been tough despite washing laundry like crazy and using the comb almost daily. It helps in the battle and I have seen improvements. I would say it's hard to clean the comb itself and it does not catch the smaller nits. I also have a difficult time figuring out when the nits are zapped since it's suppose to pause/briefly go silent when it does, but I hardly ever hear the sound go silent for it. It is better than a traditional lice comb and I would recommend it.
