This hot cocoa is really good! You can have it with water, but it tastes best with milk. I did not like it as much with water, but when I supplemented milk for the water, it made a huge difference! :) I like that you can add as little or as much as you want. Great job, Equal Exchange! :)

While I appreciate that this product is fair trade as well as organic, I am disappointed that it's is not real hot chocolate. It tasted too sweet for me: I prefer dark chocolate with high cocoa content, and this has far more sugar and milk than real cocoa (according to the ingredients listed).

I rarely purchase instant hot chocolate because it's usually so disappointing. However, if you don't want to go through the trouble of making it from scratch, this is an excellent alternative. The chocolate has a complex flavor that isn't too sweet, and all you need is hot water to make a satisfying cup of comfort! When you add the fact that it's organic and fair trade, you end up feeling good all over.

Much better than the overly sugared, individually packaged kind. This has a much richer, smoother flavor than any other I have tried, and with much less sugar. I'm sold!

I love hot chocolate, but it so hard to find it without hydrogenated oil... and I don't always feel like making it from scratch. This tastes really good and is super-easy... just add hot water! Try it!!
