After having 15 hot flashes during a work day, I tried this product after reading other reviews. After a week I've noticed a significant decrease in number of hot flashes. I'm not waking up repeatedly at night anymore or throwing covers off. Seems to be working great for me.

I switched from the Estroven twice a day product which was ineffective after taking the full package to Estroven Maximum Strength once a day. Recently, about 2 weeks in I noticed no hot flashes! My body temperature is better regulated...not hot all the time, and I'm sleeping much better. Thank goodness! This is my 4th product within 2 years as they seem to stop working ater 6 months or so. If this continues to work, I'd give it 5 stars; but, it hasn't been a month yet. If I'm able to come back later to comment, I will, but now, it's working!

I do think it works better when taken with food, but if you forget to take it right while you eat the hot flashes and night sweats are just like not taking the product

I have tried both the one tablet a day type and the 2 tablet a day type. Both work pretty well for hot flashes. I was having hot flashes and also, for the last several years, I've had acne around my chin area...one cyst after another. Nothing has worked to clear up my acne until I started taking the one a day Estroven. I started taking the one a day type (bought from one of those wholesale club stores) and my acne cleared within a week. I was pleasantly surprised but wasn't entirely sure the Estroven was the cause of my acne clearing up. I ran out of the one a day type and I couldn't find it in my local drug store. So I bought the 2 a day type. Within a week, my acne had returned. Anyone who has had menopausal acne knows that it's no more fun to have acne at age 49 than it was at age 16! So I switched back to one a day Estroven and within a week, my acne had cleared again. So I do believe the one a day Estroven is the cause of my acne cure. My skin is clear and I can sleep at night without tossing and turning and sweating and driving my poor husband crazy. If you're experiencing hot flashes, acne or other symptoms, give it a try. It sure works for me.

I have used this product for more than a year. I started with the twice daily maximum strength, which was replaced with the once daily version. After the switch to the once daily, my hot flashes came back. I tried splitting the tablet so I could take morning and evening, but the pills are impossibly difficult to break in half. I don't want to take two a day, so I am going to see if I can find a similar product that still has a twice daily dose.
