I have been getting terrible bikini area razor burn lately, despite following all the prevention tips I've read in magazines and the like. It's been unbearably itchy and painful and chafes on my clothes, so much that two days post-shave I had to run to the drugstore and buy this on my lunch break! I'd seen the commercials for Eucerin Calming Cream, almost bought its generic, but I saw this itch relief version (with "topical analgesic" menthol) and thought it sounded like a better choice. It WAS. The lotion is on the thin side, which was great in my case because anything requiring a heavier hand to apply and rub in would have been painful. It really was INSTANT relief. The cooling menthol was not extreme or stinging like I'd feared, and 15 minutes later the itching is still quelled. I am now just waiting to see how long the results last (and whether it was absorbed by my skin or got wiped away by my clothes), but it so far has been the only lotion to give me that kind of instant relief; not even diaper rash cream or OTC analgesic antibiotic ointment could (although the latter helps with the redness/reduces bumps when used overnight). I will be keeping this on hand for emergencies and using post-shower!

This product really works, but only if you have an "actual" itch. Pleasant smell, absorbs quickly and long lasting for an "actual" itch. I wish it came in a larger size.

I have psoriasis and many allergic reactions to both food and medications. I also wash my hands countless times throughout the day- the Eucerin Calming Itch-Relief Lotion has been my saving grace! I use it immediately after washing my hands and the burning and stinging from my raw hands are calmed and relaxed immediately- no stinging or burning from chemicals in the soap- no greasiness- just calm, cooling comfortable. My only wish is that it doesn't come in a 5 gallon bucket to fill my bath tub with!

I have been using Eucerin products for years and love them, but this product failed to meet my expectations. I have very dry itchy winter skin and thought this would relieve it. Upon application it burned my skin. I don't know if this is because I scratched my skin prior to apppying the lotion, but the burning sensation was very uncomfortable. After about ten minutes the itching did stop, but it might have done that with any lotion. I also did not care for the scent. It's supposed to be fragrance free, but it has a scent that is very unpleasant. I would not recommend this product.

with my eczema my dr. gave a prescription that does not last as long as this. the presvription is supposed to be used once daily and sometimes it itches later in the day. Using the product I gaought from you it actually last to the next day. Wonderful, less itching. Thank you.

When the weather gets dry my skin gets drier. With this I can go through the winter without scratching blood from my skin.
