When I heard dermatologist recomend this lotion on television I decided to try it for my winter skin. It stopped my winter back itch and my skin no longer has that winter scale. Other Eucerin lotions don't work as well so be sure you get the "daily skin balance". I use it all year and love the results.

I have tried a lot of skin lotions, but this works the best so far. Since I start using this lotion, my skin became instantly smoother. I and even my boyfriend were really surprised.
The smell isn't bad at all.

I cannot believe some reviewers say it is stinky! I guess most people expect Eucerin products to be fragrance-free or very very very light in smell. These are not really light when you first put your nose to it but when it is on, it is by no means overwhelming or smells bad. It actually smells good - i agree with some reviewers. I guess the negativity comes from expectation, not reality. I would buy this lotion again and rotate with my other great finds! :)

I use this lotion after every shower, and it works great on my eczema-prone skin throughout the winter. I agree with other reviewers, that it's not exactly "lightly" scented, but I actually really like the fragrance they've added. It's very pleasant and somehow doesn't irritate my overly sensitive skin. I also love that this lotion is PARABEN FREE :)

I like Eucerin products, and smells don't usually bother me at all, but this smells SO STRONG! I can't take it. Returning this tomorrow!!

The thought of protecting my skin from external elements was very appealing, but the fragrance is just too much. After receiving it in the mail, I gave it one try and then gave it away. I'm hoping Eucerin comes out with a fragrance free version sometime soon.

I think this product is great. Is very light and fast absorbance. I love the scent is not what I imagine it to be but is great.

I usually don't mind light fragrances, but this is very strong for Eucerin! It was almost "cloying" to the point where I had to wash my arms to get rid of the scent. Too bad, because I usually love Eucerin products. I brought it to work for general use in the Ladies Room, rather than throwing it away.... maybe someone else will like the smell! I'll stick to only fragrance free Eucerin from now on.

Eucerin, what were you thinking with all the perfume in this? I wouldn't call it "lightly scented." I usually love Eucerin products, but will stick with the Smoothing Essentials lotion because this one is so smelly. The good news is that if you don't mind perfume, it feels good on!
