I have no severe skin conditions, other than a sensitivity to certain fragrances and prolonged sun exposure. This is a good year round skin cream. It is thicker than a lotion but it is super moisturizing and soothing on the skin. I even use it on my face to combat occasional dryness. I use it as an all over body moisturizer and hand cream as well. If you have a problem with itchy, dry skin and have sensitivity as well you will love this cream. I bought this and decided to start using it before the weather turned bad, to try to prevent the damage to my legs. This stuff made my legs, which were fine, very itchy. I can't imagine what it would do to me if I used it on skin that was already red and raw. It doesn't seem to bother my hands, though. I'll stick to the Nivea Creme I usually buy, even though it's very thick and hard to spread over the entire leg. Most times, my knuckles crack and bleed. It doesn't burn when I apply, and it soaks right up. Doesn't take much, but I do have to re-apply a few times throughout the day. Harsh chemical treatment of water overseas often irriates my skin and this product keeps it from itching and drying.
