I have tried EVERYTHING for my 2 1/2 y/o toddler's eczema- steroid creams, Atopiclair, every lotion out there....Eucerin CREAM works so well that if I'm consistant with it 1-2X/day, his eczema is almost gone. I apply it very heavily all over his body. It is white with the cream then I put on clothes that cover his legs and arms so the cream "soaks" in well. It is VERY greasy, but that's why it works. I try to put, old play clothes on so as not to ruin his good clothes as cream (the way I put it on) will stain. I don't care though if I don't have to use steroid creams or immunosuppressive meds on him. I also stay away from ANYTHING with scent in it ie: laundry soap, shampoo, etc. Pediatrician recommended Aquaphor and I tried, but it didn't work NEARLY as well!!! I also have good success with Extra Virgin Coconut oil at different times than using the Eucerin ie: apply eucerin at night before going to sleep (under PJ's) & EVCO in the a.m., I also give him a teaspoon of the EVCO to eat daily etc.

I used it for eczema I have noticed that my eczema has begun to look better since I started Eucerin. However, it is not the greatest for stopping itching by itself. It does work well after a shower, however. If you take a shower and then put on Eucerin the itchiness pretty much disappears.

Comments about Eucerin Original Healing Soothing Repair Creme, 16 oz:

Another excellent Eucerin product! This is a thick, "heavy" cream, but it absorbs well enough and works beautifully on hands, cuticles, wrists, elbows, feet (Bye-bye, rough heels!), and knees. So soothing on itchy, irritated, sensitive skin! Your skin may feel a little slick upon first applying, but give it a minute. The cream absorbs into the skin pretty fast. A little goes a long way so a jar lasts FOREVER, making this a budget buy after all!

Comments about Eucerin Original Healing Soothing Repair Creme, 16 oz:

I've been using this product for many years. It was dermatologist recommended. It worked great on my older child's eczema, but not so great for my second child's. I also use it for my face and dry body parts. After spending hundreds of dollars on more expensive brands of moisturizers, I keep coming back to Eucerin. It works the best and is a great price.

Comments about Eucerin Original Healing Soothing Repair Creme, 16 oz:

This Eucerin cream is too much thick and heavy. Not easy to apply on skin. Since cream was very thick I mixed it with Cetaphil lotion and used it for my son who has Eczema. After applying this cream, his eczema got worsens and also got lot of rashes on both of his legs. We used Cetaphil in past for him and never had any problem so it seems like due to Eucerin. Can't surely blame the Eucerin cream but not happy with it either. I have stopped using the cream and back to the Cerave cream for my son's eczema.

Comments about Eucerin Original Healing Soothing Repair Creme, 16 oz:

I use this on my sensitive, acne-prone face. I have found it to be one of the only creams my face can tolerate without breaking out or clogging up. It is very thick and you only need the very tiniest amount, but it works like a charm and keeps my skin moisturized, but not greasy. I find that it sinks in best if applied to slightly damp skin. Very happy to have finally found something that works. I use this in conjunction with Albolene cleanser or DIY cleansing grains.

This will CURE dry, cracked heels. Sooo very moisturizing. Almost too heavy. Not for general use on hands & arms. For extremely dry areas like heels & elbows. Very long lasting moisture for problem areas.

Comments about Eucerin Original Healing Soothing Repair Creme, 16 oz:

My doctor recommended Eucerin Original Healing to treat my eczema and prevent future outbreaks. It works great. I apply it once a day at night (it's too heavy for me to wear all day) and my skin feels wonderfully moisturized the next day. I just slather it on, rub it in as best I can, then put on my jammies. It soaks in well overnight, so the heavy feeling is gone by morning. I like to cake it on to my feet and put on a pair of socks overnight. I've done this before with vasoline, but vasoline is greasy and slimy feeling, whereas Eucerin is just thick. I find it more comfortable than vasoline. Anyway, I have embarrassingly dry skin on my feet and just one night's treatment seriously improved their condition. Yes the heavy texture is a bit of a pain, but it's worth it because nothing light and easy to rub in will heal problem skin like this.

I use this cream after showering and exfoliating to maintain smooth skin. I began developing chicken bumps on my arms but after daily exfoliating and applying Eucerin, the bumps have slowly began to disappear.

              Will continue using.
