I use this one mainly on my dry heels and hands. It's relatively greasy but works great to use at night or with socks (like mask for heels :)) I really recommend the smoothing one for whole body use though, it's much lighter than this one. I got them both :) Decent price and works well!

This is my heavy-duty lotion. I use it on heels, elbows, extra-dry winter red bumps, keratosis polaris, hands, feet... basically anywhere but my face. It keeps my skin nice and moisturized and gets it done right. In the summer, my preference is for a lotion that is a little lighter, but now that fall is here this is my go-to lotion til it's hot and humid again. Wearing it right now. Love it.

I live in a very dry climate and while I normally use the original Eucerin, I bought the Intensive Repair thinking it would help alleviate my dry skin. Which it does. However, I found the lotion to be heavy and greasy, and it does not go on smoothly because it is so thick. My skin has a sheen to it when I use the Intensive Repair lotion. While it is a great moisturizer I am now using it just before bedtime.

I suffer from what I call alligator skin on my legs in winter, and the thick oatmeal-based cream I normally use just wasn't getting the job done. I did some reading, and I decided to try an AHA moisturizer and found the reviews on this product informative. I picked up a small bottle of this at a big box store to try it out. I patted dry after my shower and apply this cream to my arms and legs. It flows out of the container like a liquid-y cream, but is very thick once it hits your skin and you begin to rub it in (It almost reminds me of that cornstarch non-Newtonian fluid experiment). It takes a while (10-15 minutes or so) to completely soak in, and leaves a soft dewy sheen on your skin, but once it soaks in, it's not greasy feeling. I've been using for two days now, and my rough flaky skin is no more! I applied this morning on freshly-shaven legs with no irritation or razor bumps. I will continue to use this lotion in the winter, and will consider the "fast-absorbing" version in the spring and summer.
