Most acne cleansers do the same. It made sense -- strip the oil, dry the skin, and the oil glands become hyper-active to compensate for the dryness. The skin becomes even more oily, you try it control it more frequently, it becomes oilier. A nasty cycle I would image a lot of people are experiencing. It is fantastic for makeup removal, and is very gentle for sensitive skin, but I don't have particularly dry skin and I had to stop using this product. It just made my skin too tight, and I had to use too much moisturizer to make up for that - and then I started breaking out. I wanted to love this cleanser, but I think my skin responds better to creamy cleansers. I wouldn't use it again, but for oilier skins or for use during the summer, this might be just perfect. It leaves my skin feeling so clean and not over dry. I use it morning and night and have even used it three times in a day to fit around my schedule. Love this product. I wash my face every night with this product, it removes my mascara without stinging my eyes and it doesn't dry my skin. The great thing is that I don't have to pay a fortune to get the same results.
