The tape roll product requires you to continually unroll more tape, dispose of used tape and then you run out of tape. Never happens with this brush. Regular lint brushes just push the hair and lint around and doesn't pick it up. In any case, this products solves the pet hair problem. I bought 2, to keep them handy for home and travel. Also works well on clothing but you might have to finish with a sticky lint roller to get any strays left behind. The best part about it is that it can be cleaned and reused over and over.
