So far, this shave cream has produced the smoothest shave for me yet. The only thing I would change about this product is to add more mint to really close your pores up with. I highly recommend this product!

I've been searching for a product to replace my old Tom's Of Maine Mint Shave Cream, which was discontinued. I saw this on sale and thought I'd give it a try.

After two shaves, I have given up on this stuff - it's just not a premium product. Frankly, I think the generic aerosol creams and gels outperform this shaving cream.

Here are my issues:

1. Their "signature" mint fragrance must be no fragrance at all, because I can't detect anything minty or refreshing about it.

2. Works better when applied by hand than with a shave brush, which I think is the opposite of how it should be. To say that it works better this way, really isn't saying much, because it didn't really provide me with a great shave either way.

3. I wound up with quite a few cuts on my neck, using this shave cream. Back to the Kiss My Face, which isn't as great as Tom's was, but it's the best alternative I've found...

In defense of Every Man Jack:

1. It does clog my razor more than the Tom's or the Kiss My Face mint shave creams, but not terribly. I didn't find this to be as big a deal as some of the other reviewers.

2. I guess it's sort of moisturizing...

This cream clogged my razor to the point that I gave up the shave and used my old cream. While the cream itself seems fine I am not willing to spend an extra 10-15 minutes attempting to clean the razor during my shave.

I didn't realize how big a difference it made using this cream versus gels, soap, lotion, and hair conditioner (I was being cheap). I use cheap wally world disposable razors and with this cream I can even shave against the grain without any knicks or tugs. Great stuff.

I love it! I have tried so many other natural shave creams in the past year, but none have measured up to the quality of shave and feeling following use as this does. The smell is wonderful as well.

I've been using this shave cream for a couple of years now. It's better than any shave gel, it doesn't dry out my already dry skin, and it gives a good, close shave. It does clog up the Fusion razor, though. However - at [$], it's too expensive, when regular price at a store near my house is [$]. It should be at least as cheap online as it is in a store.

this product works well with a brush or alone. It provides a shave with enough density to make the hairs stand up so that they can be shaved off. Which is what you want.

I shave in the shower and like the texture and lack of foamy
lather to the product. It coats the skin well without creating a
gloppy mess.

My razor blades last longer, less gunk accumulation too. Plus I like the plastic container, in that I actually can leave it in the shower for shaving without concern for rust.
