Rubber base for pill holds pill in place making it hard to place pill in slot to be cut. Takes too much time to move pill into place and I end up getting angry trying to place pill cause it's stuck on the base. If that rubber was not there it would be fine.

Whatever you do, don't waste money on this cutter. The platform where the pill is places is rubberized so you can't easily position the pill so it cuts in the middle on the score.
I wasted 3 pills trying to split. It splits one big chunk and one small one.
I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this awful product.

Perhaps the one I got is faulty, but for small pills it is absolutely useless. I tried it 3 times and each time it cut the pill with about 1/3 on one side, 2/3 on the other. Very expensive for a useless piece of junk.
