I had already treated them and it didn't work so I stashed up on all the products I researched that others had found effective. The lice issue is long gone, but I am telling you that this shampoo has nothing but high quality natural ingredients..when I read the ingredients list I just had to try it. It is a very clean and herbal smell, and the shampoo like most other natural shampoos does not lather to the extent you are used to, therefore I use about 4 or 5 squirts each time I wash my hair. However the impromvement in hair health and scalp is noticeable. My hair is shiny, smooth and soft...the only way I can describe what this shampoo does to your hair is to say that it made my hair be exactly the same feel and texture as my hair was when I was a little girl...And that is so nice. I do not have to use special moisturizers in my hair now to get it to feel this way...I just can use this shampoo and conditioner. It's pretty amazing. And I feel better knowing its all natural high quality ingredients. Girls hair needs to be placed in a braid also. I do not like the smell, it is only used for school, and only because I never want my childrend to get head lice. Fairy Tales is sold at local beauty salons and supply stores more expensively than drugstore.com. Cons Best Uses Comments about Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Shampoo, 32 fl oz: We live in a small town where head lice is constantly a problem. Our daughter is 8, and has gotten head lice from either school or summer camp at least 5-6 times. It is a nightmare.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Shampoo, 32 fl oz: I use this daily to keep my children free of lice since there have been multiple outbreaks in preschool and elementary school. It is worth every penny and does a wonderful job. I have been using this product for the past 4 or 5 years and highly recommend it.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Shampoo, 32 fl oz: We use the Fairytales products (shampoo and leave in spray conditioner) throughout the school year. The smell is a bit strong but we have been through several lice outbreaks at school through the years and luckily my kids have never had it. This gives me the peace of mind that we have taken one additional step to keep lice away. Even the nurses at school recommend it to parents. We love this product and Drugstore.com offers it at a much lower price than the salon! HIGHLY recommend this product!!

Comments about Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Shampoo, 32 fl oz: I really like this product, the smell is strong in the bottle but once you have washed and rinsed it out you can only slightly notice it. It lathers and suds up really well. We have been lucky not to have any lice come home with the kids yet, I just wanted to take extra precaution to protect us and so far so good. I would recomend this product to anyone with kids in school.

Comments about Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Shampoo, 32 fl oz: This product smells great and it's no tear formula which is good for my small children. [...]. Very disappointed! I would recommend ordering directly from Fairy Tails, their packaging is much better.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Shampoo, 32 fl oz: I prefer natural, non-toxic products whenever possible, so I bought the Fairy Tales lice treatment for my son two years ago to take care of a lice infestation and it worked perfectly without all the chemicals. After that, he now washes his hair with this shampoo regularly and he has not had lice or eggs once since then, even when there are breakouts at school. Of course this size is a fantastic value compared with the 8oz bottle.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Shampoo, 32 fl oz: This product is terrific. I got it for my preschooler, who will start school in the fall. She has beautiful long curly hair and I did not want to take any chances with her getting head lice at school! Fortunately, we have not had the chance to "test it out" BUT after trying it, I would buy this shampoo even if it didn't claim to repel lice. It smells fresh and makes her hair shiny and easy to brush. I love this product!

Comments about Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Shampoo, 32 fl oz: After a scare at the kids school we have been using this stuff for 2 years. Really like the conditioner and detangler that goes with it too. Hope we never have a real test of it's lice repelling powers but hopefully it will do the trick. They are good products and it can't hurt!
