UVA-Same Everyday... UVA radiation, unlike UVB, is consistently the same all day long, all month long, and all year long. UVA rays present almost the same damaging effects to the skin in December at 9 a.m., as they do in July at 4 p.m. UVA radiation is consistently damaging, and in fact, enters deeper into the skin than UVB and are believed by many physicians to be more harmful, which is why patients with sun sensitivity require daily, year round complete protection.
SPF - Not Enough The Sun Protection Factor (SPF) number is not a completely accurate determination of a sunscreen's capability of protecting the skin from the sun's harmful rays. SPF is only an indication of protection from one wavelength of light, the UVB. It does not indicate protection from UVA rays, which are responsible for deeper skin damage, including tanning, wrinkles, pigmentation changes and premature skin aging. Currently there is no rating system for UVA protection.

I've been using this for a couple years now, initially recommended by my dermatologist. I apply a moisturizer underneath, then a small amount of Total Block. It blends evenly, and looks very natural (once you got it to match your skin shade). Water, rain or heavy sweating can be a problem, so a setting powder is highly recommended... I've worn this in the pool/rain several times with setting powder, and it STAYS PUT. Also, if you're going to wear it all day, you might have to remove and reapply halfway through the day... maybe only if you're really active (as I sometimes am). I don't have any 'breaking out' problems resulting from this product. Overall, a great foundation/sun block!

It is a great makeup base year round. Evens out color on my face, stays all day. Doesn't add any moisture, so you need to put on moisture first. You can put it on as light or as heavy as you wish.

As a victim of melanoma I use sunscreen every day rain or shine. Total Block is a very effective sunscreen. I like the fact that I didn't have to figure out what color to buy; I easily followed the instructions to get the color to match my skin tone. The scent of this is almost unnoticeable, which is great. I only gave it four stars, because it seems like foundation which I don't ususally wear; I prefer the Total Block without the tinting. Fallene Total Block Tinted is terrific for covering my redness due to rosacea. It is very effective as a sun block and I use it daily. Only wish it came with a green tint also!

I spend a LOT of money on skin care and make-up, I'm in the skin care industry. I recommend this product to all my clients and they love it as well. Even with daily use, this bottle lasts me well over 6 months[$] that's the best bargain in town.

This product has changed my life. I have very sensitive skin with rosacea & hyper-pigmentation. For years I couldn't tolerate any foundation product on my face. My new dermatologist recommended Fallene's Total Block, and I love it. I use beautyblender's Blender Sponge to evenly apply the tinted SPF 60 concealer. My makeup doesn't cake and stays put all day long, and I never break out or get a splotchy appearance. It does have problems with water/rain, but I don't mind, it's the only foundation I'll use.
