My cats are both 9 years old, so they aren't very excitable these days. But I decided to buy this mat anyway, based on good reviews. For the record, my cats both own cushioned mats but they haven't slept on them for a long time. Since I gave them this mat a month back, at any one time, I would find one cat on it. Occasionally, both cats would share the mat. They can scratch it, and they love to sleep on it. Fantastic! Trust me when I say it has been a long time since I found a product my cats actually got excited about or used.

My four cats LOVE LOVE LOVE this scratch pad! I bought two and put one in the hallway where they were starting to pull up the carpet and put another in the front hallway between their food dishes and litter box (it's a big area). Cats have a natural instinct to scratch...whether you trim their nails or not. If you're having issues with your cats scratching a certain area of your house...your carpet, sofa, wall (we have one that loves to scratch the wall...yikes!), just pop one of these mats on the floor next to the item the cat usually scratches and I can almost guarantee you that your cat will prefer to scratch the mat! Love this! Love all of the Fat Cat products!! They are all made well, designed for cats and reasonably priced!

My cat loves this thing. He really does use it to scratch and sharpen his claws... then he sleeps on it... pushes it around on the floor, and defends it against all comers. He rarely scratches the couch anymore. In short, this mat works beyond my expectations. Boppy and I thank you.

I sprinkled some of the high powered catnip on this mat, and my little Sam took off! He loves this thing...scratches it, pounces on it, lies on it and rolls around. Great low priced product that will keep you cat entertained.

I bought one of these a few months ago, and my cat loves it. She uses it as a scratching pad and it has become one of her favorite spots for a nap. In fact, she loves it so much that when I recently got a second cat, I got a second one of these to avoid fights over who gets to sit on the yummy smelling pad. It's also brightly colored and wacky, which I enjoy (the older one is noticeably faded now that I have a brand new one for comparison, though I think this is inevitable considering how much love it gets).

My cat was a destructive machine until I found this scratcher pad. Thank goodness this is the only thing she scratches now, and she loves them. She has 6, and they are in areas that are special to her. She scratches, sleeps and plays on her Scratch - o - Rama's!
I highly recommend this product.

I bought one and she used it frequently. So I bought a second one for a different room and she has never touched it. Cats! She still uses the first sometimes.

I just bought my 4th mat. I have one in each room and my cat knows exactly where each one is. When he enters a room he immediatly goes to the mat to scratch and streach out. He loves to lay on these mats with his head on the pillow tufting all around the area. Thank goodness, he leaves my furniture alone.

Four cats, one mat, just doesn't work. They were bought scratchers and this mat for filing their claws and exercise. Once one of them got onto the mat, that was it for the rest of them. Looks to me, like everyone else, I'll have to buy another to make sure they all get a turn. Great product! Great holiday gift for the kitties!
