I got this toy as a gift. I have a larger, 27 pound, muscular and very active Boston Terrier and my sister has a full grown, smaller, very muscular and active Pit Bull. They love to play tug of war together with this toy (and others)! This toy has lasted thru their play times, plus my Boston has play dates where they play with this toy often and I've had this toy over a year!!! I can't believe some of the other reviews that say this broke.?! I though my dogs were tough on toys hahaha! They really give this one a workout and we've played tug with him and it has no tears to date.

This unfortunately didn't outlast my little 8 pound toy fox terror. I went by several reviews including one from a friend since I'm on the endless search for the most indestructible toy for my little determined pooch. He spent 5-6 days squeaking and head shaking and playing tug of war until he finally got the squeaker and all it's fluff out. So disappointing. Seems like it's great for a not so tough dog.

Was impressed when I received it as I thought that it would withstand my jack russel for a little while. No it didn't. 15 minutes and he had the stuffing out of it and it ripped up. Had such high hopes for it too.

Comments about Fat Cat Dog Toy, Battle Tested Tug-O-Rama, 1 ea:

Our terrier's favorite toy. She will play "pull" forever, and the handle on this toy is a bonus for the human on the other end. She has even fallen asleep with this in her mouth during a 20 min pull stand off. We use it as a toss, fetch, pull routine. Lasts about a month with rough daily use, not bad as most pull toys make it 1-2 weeks.

My five month old puppy destroyed this in two days. While he was having fun doing so, it is not why I bought this toy. I had high hopes that this toy would last for a long time, but I was truly disappointed. I would only recommend this for a dog without teeth.

My dogs really enjoy this toy..fetch and tug of war. This is the second one I've purchased, as they finally destroyed the first one. I have 2 labs that immediately destroy stuffed toys, to get to the sqeaker. This toy has lasted longer than most, an amazingly the squeaker is still inside...its the middle part that has ripped apart.

Comments about Fat Cat Dog Toy, Battle Tested Tug-O-Rama, 1 ea:

This toy is made of a canvas like material so it is very rugged. It probably would be best suited for a larger sized dog. My adult Sheltie liked the tug of war, but preferred to grip the center or the handle part as he really couldn't sink his teeth into the "padded" end. It was much too thick for my 3 month old Sheltie puppy.

As I said, I think a larger breed dog would really have a lot of fun with it and it seems like it would hold up pretty well.

The large end with the sqeeky is still in tact after weeks of rough play with an 11 mo old 50 lbs Pitt Bull. She has the stuffing out of every place but the end with the squeeky.

Just arrived - Dogs have it half destroyed already after 1 round of tug o' war. Could hear stitching being ripped almost immediately. Save your money, not worth it.
