It is very fine, with no hard pieces or stems included.. My cat can smell this from another room. I put it on her scratching post, and she is on it immediately. Then she passes out for a while :) Its a good value, nothing new, and I think the cats reaction to catnip depends on the Cat! I sprinkled it on their toys and they started playing with them immediately. Even my lazy cat loves it. Would caution giving very much to a young kitten, since it's really strong. Maxx was definetly high....but was having a great time. I give it to him as a treat. Product is a little dusty, but I put it inside of velcro toys to contain the dust and this works well. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful?
